The following is adapted from Mr. Snow's speech at a Hillsdale College seminar on October 15, 2001, in Scottsdale, Arizona.
All Americans have a deep interest in maintaining the Constitution. This might seem especially true of journalists, who owe their livelihoods to the founding document that frames our freedoms. Yet for some reason, American journalists in recent decades have assailed that document with startling vigor - and have seemed blissfully ignorant of their treachery. Fortunately, the Constitution itself supplies a cure for this malady...

Tony Snow. Too soon taken from us, God bless his family and his memory.
Thank you, Barney59!
Miss ya Tony.
Tony, you were a refreshing blessing.
Tony was my favorite journalist and commentator. As press secretary to President Bush, he made us proud. We truly lost a great Patriot, Father, Speaker, and man when Tony left us to be with God.
I wondered if there would be a thread. I wish he were here.
A true American, talented musician, a great person, the angels in Heaven must still be rejoicing. Prayers offered for his family.
I can only imagine what Tony would have had to say about the current administration. :-) RIP Tony, we miss you.
From the Snowman's article in Christianity today, July 20, 2008:
...What is man that Thou art mindful of him? We don't know much, but we know this: No matter where we are, no matter what we do, no matter how bleak or frightening our prospects, each and every one of us, each and every day, lies in the same safe and impregnable placein the hollow of God's hand.
My prayers for the Snow family on this day.
Me too. Whenever a big story breaks - and these days it's a constant stream -- I wish Tony were on the air, on the radio, anything to smooth out the facts and calm the hysteria.
God bless Jill and his family.
Oh dear, is there any one person that we could need to have with us at this time?
How I miss this wonderful man.
