China citizen saves their own money for emergency events e.g health care. Geithner is over in China telling the Chinese you need to be less capitalistic and become more socialist like in America and depend on government for health care. Student with grade F telling Student with grade A what to do

The dollar's steep devaluation will have a salutatory effect on domestic manufacturing. Simple to figure out really. Pay 3 dollars for that overseas item or 2 bucks made locally. The spread becomes so large the consumer demands cheaper alternatives to expensive foreign goods.

Devaluation is well under way... The DJIA is down 5%, if you look at it from a EUR/GBP/CAD standpoint; it's only up if you look at it from a USD viewpoint:

Essentially, we've been hit with a 20% devaluation already this year, and the Administration is keeping the sheeple ignorant of it by pointing to the DJIA as "proof" we've had a recovery (never mind that it's denominated in lower value USD).
