The Jihad at Home: Ignoring the enemies among us
The Washington Times ^ | June 3, 2009 | Editorial

Posted on 06/02/2009 7:58:55 PM PDT by Abakumov

It's a sad day in America when the shooting of an abortion doctor stops the presses but no one notices two soldiers gunned down by an Islamist.

We’re handicapped. Can’t call them by their name. Can’t call anything having to do with this ‘misunderstanding’ by their rightful mane.

It will come home to roost big time.

You know what story we should have heard about that we have not?

About a muzzie training camp here in the USA getting busted up to all hell, and everyone getting arrested and sent away forever.

Why haven’t we seen a big story like that?

And what did Obama have to say about it?

Was this a heinous crime too?

Or did Obama just vote “present” again on the soldier killing?

To be honest it has been in the news but the libs can’t seem to find the right twist on it as much as the abortion killing.

This is another blatant example of media censorship. The MSM will only release stories that are sympathetic to their agendas then spin them so that stupid people sympathize with those stories.

Abortion is the sacrament of the left. Tiller was their high priest. A young, innocent defender of freedom is disposable to the left.

God be with the family of the slain victim of Islam.

That’s exactly my fear: that they might even KNOW about one, but simply take no action, for fear of THE ULTRA-PC COVERAGE THAT IT WOULD GARNER.

The self-loathing impulse towards agitpropre among the authorities is so strong that I sometimes wonder: if the Brits had had FOREKNOWLEDGE of the London tube/bus bombings, would they have tried to stop them ahead of time?

The USA is highly multiethnic and from an operational perspective it would MAKE SENSE for muzzies to not only be recruiting and raising funds here, but also training personnel here.

And it would make sense that there would be some filter mechanism, starting at colleges & Universities, then extending to mosques, then to smaller study groups, and for stalwart muzzie DA types then to some remote, regional traning centers. And those would have small arms, and explosives and stuff like that, and maybe some IT component, and additional religio-propoganda section, and stuff.

And by now we should have heard of some big bust of a place like that. And yet we have not, and so I wonder —is that cuz we’re incompetant, or too PC, or....what?

And I hope to high heaven that we’re monitoring and infiltrating mosques and Universities because we cannot just go on indefinately, lucking out like this.

I'm as cynical as anyone with regard to the MSM these days but I have to admit even I am shocked by the collective yawn this one has received. Here we have a native-born, foreign-trained Islamist murdering soldiers on a U.S. street and the reaction so far has been largely a sense of irritation that this act of genuine terrorism is getting in the way of the 0bama public relations campaign.

I think we've gone past the point where this one is reparable, and so it will be stifled. It already has been. ABC and CBS spiked the story this evening. RIP Private William Long - we'll mourn you here even if no one else seems to want to.

Much like how the Feds are stickin’ it to Sheriff Arpaio in Phoenix because he dare do his job and go after illegal aliens. Muzzies—illegals—what’s the difference? Both can enter through the Mack truck-sized sieve that SHOULD be our border. Then they set up shop and we’re supposed to look the other way.

Soldiers, by virture of their being soldiers, placed themselves in that position and therefore deserve their fate - an abortion doctor, on the other hand, performs a valuable public services (philosophy of the left).

Wow, what deja vu..!

You know if we turned the clock back about 12 years that sounds almost like the prevalent government attitude at the time TWA Flight 800 crash --Bill Clinton was campaigning, and the message was "peace and prosperity".

Messages like that were seen as helping him, while thoughts along the lines of, "some nasty folks abroad might really hate us" were seen as nasty and unwelcome.

And for this reason the Feds were more or less ordered from the outset to declare that this Was Not Terrorism --indeed that the word even be used was more or less off-limits.

And for this reason I think we are bound for at least a 4-year track of the same thing.

The left only cares about the lives of American soldiers when a Republican president sends them to war.

You don't hear about because they are already put away. The biggest Muzzie training camps are the prisons themselves!

It’s safe to assume that the Arabic speakers hired by law enforcement take their orders from elsewhere on planet earth and/or from Allah.

SNIPPET from the link in post no. 1:

"In October 2002, when D.C. Beltway snipers John Allen Muhammad and Lee Boyd Malvo were terrorizing the capital region, profilers claimed with some confidence that the perpetrator was a white male Christian veteran rather than a pair of black male Muslims, one of whom had military service. This politically correct profiling may have kept Muhammad and Malvo at liberty and killing longer than they may have been otherwise.

The FBI is cognizant of the Islamist threat on the home front and has done a good job helping keep America safe. But the official silence is troubling."
