Baby Love, it hurts every time I breathe
Its punishment for taking life away from you
There are no excuses for what I did
God gave you to me and getting rid of you was what I chose to do
Inside of me you grew, innocent and without fault
You are probably wondering why, but the reason I dont know
Its impossible to say that my actions were for your protection
What mommy really thinks is that she was selfish and low
Its hard to say I love you when I know I did you wrong
You were not just a vision in my mind, you existed for real
I was given the opportunity to bring a brand new human into this world
But instead...No words could ever describe exactly how I feel
Baby Love, how can I tell you that I love you
When I know I did you wrong
How can I show you that you mean the world to me
When I couldnt be strong
The letters S.O.R.R.Y spell Sorry
But its just not enough
You were Gods gift to me and you deserve more
How could I have been so rough?
Baby Love, no one could ever take your place
I wish I could see you smile and hear you call for me
It hurts...so bad...it hurts
But mommy loves you...so much...baby
With each thought of you, my tears flow constantly
But mommy isnt mad
I just wish that you were here
the mothers never recover emotionally or mentally and must be counted as killed or wounded as well
A year or two ago NPR asked women who had had abortions to call in with their stories to celebrate the anniversary of Roe V Wade. I heard some excerpts from that show. Some of the saddest women I have ever heard. Many never went on and had children after their abortions. They didn’t feel that deserved to have children after the ‘choice’ they had made in their younger years.
If you are truly repentant and ask Him to save you, Jesus will forgive you and give you eternal life. Then when you leave this world, you will be reunited with your child, who still loves you and is waiting for you.
It’s true. They really know not what they do.
