Over 2,800 people who were already dead may have "voted" in last November's election in Minnesota -- an indication either of voter fraud, or of record-keeping so flawed that it leaves the state vulnerable to fraudulent ballots being cast according to a government watchdog group.
Minnesota Majority, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization with several Republican supporters, is calling for a federal investigation into Minnesota's election practices.
"The secretary of state's office is now in what I interpret to be panic mode," Minnesota Majority founder Jeff Davis tells Newsmax.
According to Davis, the issue of deceased persons on the voter rolls dates back to October, when he sent a letter to the secretary of state's office alerting officials to the problem. State officials referred him to county election officials, but many of the county officials in turn referred him back to the state.
"This is the great finger-pointing exercise, 'It's their responsibility,' and "No, it's their responsibility,'" Davis says.
After the election, Minnesota Majority obtained the state's entire list of voters who cast ballots in the election. It gave the list to an outside firm that routinely conducts "death suppression" for direct mail firms.
This involved matching the voter lists names and addresses -- with recent deaths. The process flagged over 2,800 individuals at specific addresses who, according to public records, appeared to have died prior to voting naturally a concern to anyone worried about voter fraud.
To check the data, Minnesota Majority dispatched researchers to check on 12 of the names. They spoke to neighbors and relatives. Some neighbors refused to comment, but in five of the 12 cases, people confirmed that the individual in question had in fact passed away prior to the election.

Democrats from Chicago, no doubt
No, the system is corrupt by design. If states wanted to, they could make the voting system as secure as the lottery.
If the conservatives can;’t shut down Acorn and voter fraud, they will NEVER win another election!
2800 Franken voters no doubt.
For those that need a good laugh, check this out:
The dead vote in Minnesota, illegals ok’d to vote in Georgia, and the “president” can’t produce a birth certificate.....now THAT’S “change”!
Real absentee voters
and ironically they all voted for frankenstien
Don’t you people understand, the dead have feelings too. You need to demonstrate some empathy for these poor neglected people. The very least that we can do is to count their votes.
Any word on what precincts specifically??
The dead weren’t included in the new hate crimes bill, were they?
Yeppers, the absolute truth. Hey pubs, grow some cojones, will ya?
You’d have to be brain dead to vote for Franken.
That seems to be the goal the democrats are working toward. Totalitarianism.
Never underestimate the Democrats.
Look if Acorn has gotten gov. funding (aka our tax dollars)then the least we can do is insist that TAPS get some too.
...and Pawlenty has already assumed the dead cockroach position.
If I were Coleman, I would seek to have the results of the November election thrown out and declared void.
Well there is a history up there. Jessey was the Gov. Jessey is writing a book on 9-11. Seems Jessey knows that the airliners did not take down the world trade center buildings despite what you saw with your own eyes.
The Neo Con’s did it
and this guy was their govenor. The USof A is due for a major smack down to wake us all up
either you're with us......... or agin us!
The word ‘Dead’ is highly insulting.
They prefer to be called “Life-challenged”, and they have rights too. The fact that an overwhelming majority of them vote Democratic is just another Right-Wing excuse to deny them their rights to vote as they see fit. < /sarcasm off>
It’s funny now. But with the zero printing as much money as the presses will print, the price of gas will soon be $6 a gallon.
Same here... I think that is what should have happened months ago, I wish people would learn the lesson here of voting for third party candidates, every race thrown into turmoil has included a third party candidate and none of the outcomes has been good for America or American’s... all the way back to TR when he decided to run as a third party candidate — much like Ross Perot who though a monkey wrench in the election and helped elect Clinton, TR did the same and helped elect Woodrow Wilson.... and it looks like a third party may elect a clown to the senate.
Gosh, here in Ohio you got treated to a beverage and a Bruce Springsteen concert and then you just had to walk over to the tent and vote. If you had trouble finding your way, ACORN workers were standing by to assist. More fun our way!
Certainly a lot of brain dead people voted in Minnesooota.
Third parties would be okay if we didn’t have a system that allowed someone with less then 50% of the votes to win an election. I think we would be very well off if we changed it so that if no single person got more than 50% +1 vote, then we would immediately have a run off between the top two.
Coleman really should follow up on this to the max and publish a proven list of dead Franken voters sufficient to hand him the election.
Couldn’t agree more...I’ve been preaching that for years. How much of that Perot vote would have gone to Clinton in 1992?
A whole lot less than would have gone for GHWB.
I suspected as much... :-)
That would work, but with the current system it’s a disaster, the only thing that saved Chambliss was Georgia law calling for a do-over if under a certain % of votes...
I suppose a person who votes absentee might pass away after he mails in his ballot.
I don’t think it would be this many, though.
Franken supporters I’m sure.
“Over 2,800 people who were already dead may have “voted” in last November’s election in Minnesota....”
Ya..so this is news?!!Only if their vote reflects the overall vote....
If you have prior evidence that this many certifiably dead people rose from the grave to vote in Minnesota, a lot of people would be interested in seeing it.
“MICHIGAN: 50,051 dead people remained on the voters rolls on Election Day.....”
Wow, I’m glad Captain Obvious is on the case.
And the rest of the states too.
Well, I’m guessing since the dead pay taxes, they figure they have a right to vote.
And we are surprised,how?
