Hundreds are expected to turn out this morning under tight security for the funeral service for George Tiller, the Kansas physician specializing in late term abortions who was gunned down in the vestibule of his Lutheran church where he was working as an usher Sunday.

The suspect in his death, Scott Roeder, a 51-year-old man with dire financial problems who authorities say flirted with a number of militia-style protests against the government before becoming fixated on the abortion issue, has been charged in Tiller's death.

This sign was changed just in time for Tiller's funeral. Sums it all up, nicely.

The Tiller funeral is underway. One confusing quote has already been published in the paper:
"He went to be in that better place. And dear God, get heaven ready, because Mr. Enthusiasm is coming. Heaven will never be the same."
(quoted from HERE).

"Heaven"????????? ......................"MR. ENTHUSIASM"???? WTH?

Hey, just my opinion............................... but I'm pretty darn sure the last place Tiller was headed for was Heaven.

Meanwhile, plans are in the works to crank-up the abortion $$$$ machine once again.

"But the clinic will resume normal operations next Monday, said LeRoy Carhart, a Nebraska physician who has been coming to Tiller's clinic on a rotating basis for more than 10 years now.

"What people need to know is... the women's services that we provided for 30 years are not going to change," Carhart said. "The same abortion services will remain available in Wichita."
--Quoted from here.

‘If and when his widow donates his entire estate to the “Right-To-Life” movement, maybe I’ll change my mind.”

This will never happen. Our local celebrity, Bellevue NE Dr. Lee Carhart, told the media he was working with the family to keep the clinic open. I get sick and tired of hearing Carhart’s story of a young air force doctor seeing a woman die and vowing he would never let that happen again. He may have started out with good intentions, but then the issue got political and the money pot got big. So, now, his only agenda is MONEY!!! If that clinic closes, he will take a big pay cut. He spent most of his time in Wichita assisting Tiller. His wife and daughter are into horses and spend money like water. He built a huge horse arena and where others would rent heavy construction equipment, he bought it. It’s rented out sometimes, but this was for their personal enjoyment. It will never pay for itself. So, all your pro-abortion people, let’s call a spade a spade. This is not helping anybody. It’s a job and it pays Damn well!!

“He also was remembered for his generosity and sense of humor.

“Dear God, get heaven ready, because Mr. Enthusiasm is coming,” said Larry Borcherding, of Overland Park, who first met Tiller a half-century ago when both were students at the University of Kansas. “Heaven will never be the same. It will be a better, better place with George in it.”

Borcherding had better bury George in an asbestos suit if he plans on finding him in the next life ... and arrange for his own, too, ‘cause Borcherding sounds like he wants to be where ol’ George is.
