Hundreds are expected to turn out this morning under tight security for the funeral service for George Tiller, the Kansas physician specializing in late term abortions who was gunned down in the vestibule of his Lutheran church where he was working as an usher Sunday.
The suspect in his death, Scott Roeder, a 51-year-old man with dire financial problems who authorities say flirted with a number of militia-style protests against the government before becoming fixated on the abortion issue, has been charged in Tiller's death.

Note that Fred Phelps is not going to Tiller’s funeral, but to the funerals of the Army Recruiters that were shot and killed in Arkansas.

What about Pvt. William Long’s security? Is OUR GOV’t stepping up the security for his funeral? Where is Obama’s statement on the murder of Pvt Long and the “heinous act of violence”? WHERE IS OBAMAS OUTRAGE, WHERE IS THE MEDIA? SOMEONE crashed a memorial service where Pvt. Longs was murdered!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hold Obama and the media accountable. Write letters to the paper. Call them on it. This is 100% wrong! Pvt Long deserves better then this!

By his own admission, Tiller butchered 60,000 and more, and yet a corrupt law, that has protected the practioners in this gruesome holocaust, protected the man from the true rule of law.
Anyone blind to the sick, evil irony of that have accepted a deparved set of circumstances and strong delusion.
I mourn Tiller's family at the loss of their father and grandfather. I doubt seriously that they knew the full and graphic nature of what he was involed in.
But I absolutely refuse to mourn the fact that he, Dr. Tiller, a bloody, gruesome killer of fully formed babies...who were alive, who could FEEL THE PAIN of being literally ripped asunder, will himself murder no more.

But I pray, many people, who are unaware of the gruesome, graphich nature of this holcaust and genocide, will acquaint themselves...as disgusting and hard as that is to do...with exactly what it is that is happening all around us in our "enlightened" society. I suggested that people who regularly protest outside Tiller’s church, take the day off. One out of simple human decency (for his family) And two, lest ye be labeled as friends of Phelps.
I traced the Gore/Phelps connection by way of the SPLC website of all places. The info is minimal but they do show that Phelps has been close to Gore and his campaign.
Seems to me more like Phelps and Tiller would have gotten along just fine.
If you think about it, Phelps would probably be very much in favor of abortion if they knew a baby would grow up to be gay.
I pray Tiller did not have a son...for the sins of the father are visited upon the sons for many generations.
They will need continued security to keep people from peeing on his grave.
I see your point about not being labelled as “friends of Phelps”, but his family, except maybe his small grandchildren, had to know exactly what he did to earn the enormous amounts of money he did. No, I do not extend any sympathy or kindness toward them. If and when his widow donates his entire estate to the “Right-To-Life” movement, maybe I’ll change my mind.
This Tiller murder is going to be propagandized into a re-invigoration of gun bans. You watch. The media is already conflating guns/anti-government/militia/anti-abortion...
