Trade them for Al Gore

After a dozen or so North Korean winters and those storms coming in from Siberia, see what kind of Global Warming/Climate Change BS he would come up with then.

Oh yeah, you got a point there...

It reminds me of the time I said to another poster that they were giving me “a difference without any meaning”... :-)

Just to take Pictures? They actually interview those involved..it's not about a fashion shoot. Now the MSM might pick up on "what they are wearing"..colorful don't you think Katie? Oh, yes..very..they weave each thread by hand into a burlap bag..DK would just drool over the workmanship, Charlie". I agree Katie." (laughter)

We know what goes on in these countries as like minded "live on the edge" journalists go "to" the story. They fit in because they blend in and do not travel with an entourage and get put up in "media based hotels". Hardly idiots. Whether we agree with whom they vote for come elections. These news people, and we all listen to these very successful R-L pundits and we get spirited up by them; yes, me included. But they are riding high on stardom, ratings by attacking each other, crying fire in a crowded theater just for audience reaction--then back to the limo or company driven Escalade (given to them to test drive and advertise) to their apartment on the upper East side or mini estate on LI.

You are not aware of the names of these "in the trenches" reporters even are (til this story)..it's about getting the story, not about the person delivering it. Boots on the ground is how one should get the real story or any information. FReepers comment with "the real story", faceless to all with their boots on the ground.

It's about entertainment now--find that odd when people suffer for what some popular pundits self describe as "I am not ashamed to say this is Entertainment"?

And when Ling and Lee return..the media will chase them down for "their story".

Now were they experienced enough for this undercover work in NK? Then I would agree they might not have been compared to what some of their co-journalists have endured in getting the story. I believe the Guide should not have been trusted in this case. Who was he to them? Koss escaped.

(Goes with post above..for ex.)..I rest my case..this in what is considered news to FOX. It's about quantity not quality.

Lots of shovel ready jobs. And the camps are run very green.

Maybe Algor will go visit his employees.

Jesse Jackson is a businessman of sorts. They don’t talk business over there; they talk machine gun. That’s not his style.

If Obama had the guts to do anything as to North Korea in any respect, this wouldn’t happen. The last thing they’d want is anything controversial or negative to excuse real actions, such as saaay, nuclearizing Japan, ooor a blockade, or a preemptive strike on sites.

>>>”anyone who says that he wouldn’t life a finger to save a fellow American just because they work for Al Gore is part of the problem, not part of the solution.”

Blah, blah , blah...

Whether Im part of the “problem” really depends on what “problem” your trying to solve, now doesn’t it?

The real problem is the existence of folks who believe that forced collectivism is perfectly A.O.K. I don’t believe Im part of that problem. ;) However, people who want to get along with them ARE part of that problem.

Again... I remain unconvinced that their lives are worth caring about. and Im still enjoying the irony of their current state of well being in a country that is “enjoying” the ultimate destination of their ideology put into practice.

Sorry, I just dont see these people on the left as my fellow countrymen nor do I have any other connection to them that would be necessary for any level of sympathy. They are what is wrong, they are the problem, they are the enemy, they are the tyrants and dictators and slave holders.

To hell with ‘em...

Amnesty International has no power and no jurisdiction. This is the kind of thing that will happen and needs to happen for the vast majority of Americans to hear the alarm clock. MSM is Obama’s Pravda who will spin this as much as they can.

9/11 was an alarm clock wasn’t it? Well the snooze button has a brick on it now. Obama is now consorting with and placating sworn enemies of the United States; Saudis and Hamas.

Wake up calls have to be loud, especially when noone is listening for them.

“The real problem is the existence of folks who believe that forced collectivism is perfectly A.O.K”

Where did that come from? I didn’t see anything in the article that said either of them believed in communist totalitarian state. They were out there being reporters, people who ferret out the truth and tell us about it, if they are good at their jobs, and from some of the comments, there is evidence that at least one of them was quite accomplished. Hardly anything that deserves condemnation.

"North Korea may release them on humanitarian grounds and demand the U.S. provide humanitarian aid in return," he said.

So what is Amnesty International doing these days? Oh yeah....crickets.

It is not really funny but just came off funny when the poster zeroed in-- of all stories-- to that one and made the remark. On Current they had done a story on "breast ironing" (abuse of young women who fall into the tradition to look genderless in some 3rd world thinking country) as one of their documentaries. It was under one of the links to Current tv Mitch Koss etc.

You had to be there. Sorry lol.

Palin will never become President. Chase me down years from now and will eat those words..(I doubt I will have to). She tried to Peak too early which made become too devisive in the most part thanks to mis-reporting by the state run media backing Obama.

A new leader has not emerged as of yet. Even though presidential hopefuls usually write a book before they run, which Palin is doing..perhaps indicates she might run "for something". I guess one just watches to see who writes the most read books in the political arena- on both sides debuting in a timely manner to the next election. Narrows it down some to who the hopefuls might be.

Course if she actually does something that shows she has super human strenght in tackling the economy, immigration reform, the fair tax, stops responding to the likes of Letterman as he is way beneath her..etc.

I do enjoy her "hood-spa", however.

Excellent point. Neither of them were exactly “Juche” groupies...still, some people still seem to think they deserve to be raped and brutalized in a labor camp. For (not) advocating “forced collectivism”. Christ, what a douchebag.
