American First Lady Michelle Obama is spending the day in London on a private visit with daughters Sasha and Malia.
Mrs Obama stayed on in Paris for sightseeing yesterday after President Barack Obama returned to the US at the end of his trip to Europe.
She is understood to have flown into the UK with their daughters Malia and Sasha early today.

Damn, she REALLY DOES think she’s royalty... just jetsetting around Europe on our dime. Even if she’s paying for her own meals and tourist trinkets, WE’RE paying for Secret Service protection and other expenses related to the trips.
There is less and less pretense that she thinks anything other than she’s due.
That proves that obama is smarter than a conservative. When we are low on money, we cut back on spending (both big ticket and small items). He knows how to show his wife a good time, despite his $1.6T deficit, without any financial worries at all.
These jokers are going to make the Clinton’s excesses seem like spare change.
Just imagine if Laura Bush and the twins did this during a recession... we'd be hearing about it for the rest of our lives.

Well....he did have to play golf yesterday.
Why should we be suprised, though? Every spring break Hillary and Chelesea would hit the road on a global tour. And liberals all just smile and say, “Oh, what’s the big deal. They work sooooo hard. They deserve some time off.”
Any bets as to how long it’ll take for Obama to reveal that he promised Mama Obama a trip to a tropical island for a couple of weeks during the campaign? And, of course, he HAS to keep his promises to her, while breaking every promise he made to the people he works for ...
Malia O’s birthday is July 4. She will be 11. The other daughters birthday is in August.
In a magazine interview Obama and his wife Michelle revealed that one of their steadfast house rules is not giving Christmas or birthday presents to Malia, 10, and Sasha, seven.
The Obama's celebrate the days (apparently) but do not give gifts. The question then is: Do Muslims give birthday presents?
I don't know the answer.
HBO currently has a movie based upon Churchill in WW2, see it if you can, it’s well done. IIRC it’s called “Into the Storm” or something like that.

Last night I watched an episode of MI-5 on PBS. It was called Presidential Visit and it was about a brief visit Bush made to London in ‘03. It provided a peek into all the security that had to be put in place for the visit by MI-5 and the CIA including keeping tabs on any known people threats that may be in the area. I wonder how much warning the real MI-5 had to provide security which is described as “tight” in the article for this “surprise” visit. It must have driven them all crazy, but I hop Malia and Sasha had fun!
We have a Muslim woman temporarily living in the house we’re trying to sell. She always brings us things for holidays. She insisted on coming over late the night she remembered it was my birthday to bring me a gift. It’s possible that different Muslim countries celebrate differently. She even came over for Christmas dinner.

Might as well just see the world while the rest of the US suffers.
Wow. We hope we can afford our annual adoption agency picnic - 3 days at the Holiday Inn, gas for the 10 yr old Suburban for 260 miles, and food.

Meanwhile the majority of WOMEN voters - including Oprah - in this country who voted for Obama are swooning, every time he says he's "keeping a promise to his wife..." I'm a woman... believe me, I know how these dingbats think!
Funny how "the country went to hell" while Bush 41, 43 and Ronald Reagan took vacations on their ranches, in Kennebunkport, Maine or on the golf course, though...

But it was also revealed somewhere by MO that Santa gives the Christmas gifts not the parents although I find it a little beyond believing that a smart 10-year-old almost 11 girl like Malia hasn’t figured that one out yet. As for birthdays they give big birthday parties and the friends get to supply the gifts. I wonder what this year’s July 4th party will be like at the WH.
He said he couldn’t hang around Paris because he was “busy”, so he flew back to DC and played some golf...

Don’t you understand, HE HAD A GOLF DATE, gees get your priorities in order, I mean gee what is more important soldiers or golf. He’s a busy empty suit and needs time off to unwind.
After all he is under a lot of pressure, I mean he made a complete as* of himself on his trip.
