"Gay" Family Kids 7 Times More Likely To Be Homosexual

(But Report Shows Researchers Concealing Information)

A licensed psychologist with both clinical and forensic practice outreaches is warning that it appears children of homosexual couples are seven times more likely to develop "non-heterosexual preferences" than other children, but lawmakers establishing policy often don't know that because the researchers have concealed their discoveries.

"Research … although not definitive, suggests that children reared by openly homosexual parents are far more likely to engage in homosexual behavior than children raised by others," said the online report by Trayce L. Hansen.

Studies she reviewed suggest children raised by homosexual or bisexual parents "are approximately seven times more likely than the general population to develop a non-heterosexual sexual preference."

The "studies thus far find that between 8 percent and 21 percent of homosexually parented children ultimately identify as non-heterosexual," the psychologist wrote. "For comparison purposes, approximately 2 percent of the general population are non-heterosexual. Therefore, if these percentages continue to hold true, children of homosexuals have a 4 to 10 times greater likelihood of developing a non-heterosexual preference than other children."

However, those researchers who found such differences "nonetheless declared in their research summaries that no differences were found," the report said.

I think it works both ways. I have met gay men who told me that they were seduced when they were twelve or thirteen, and they regret it very much. There are other people—not many—whose brains and hormones are messed up.

There is a young person who works at a local store. This unfortunate boy/man/whatever has all the physical attributes of a woman: soft skin, no beard, no Adam’s apple, a woman’s hairline, wide hips, narrow rounded shoulders, and a woman’s voice. But he has male genitals. This is his body, and he can’t help it. It’s very sad. Of course he is gay and has been attracted to males since his earliest childhood, just as most of us are attracted to the opposite sex since childhood.

We all know that people are born with malfunctioning stomachs, or congenital defects of the heart, the liver, the kidneys; it should not be a stretch to think they might be born with a defect in the brain.

This is not a flame. In general I agree with you that gays are made, not born. And an effeminate appearance does not mean a male is gay; I have known delicate, lovely, fey-looking young men who were hell on the ladies and would fight to the last drop of blood for this country.

I know I'll probably get flamed for saying this, but, this research proves to me there is no such thing as a gay 'gene' or 'born gay'.

You hate-monger gay-bashing homophobe! How dare you state obvious conclusions which contradict settled 'facts'.

For the most part I agree but I do believe there is a tiny minority of gays who really are born that way. I doubt it’s genetic but there is definitely something different in their brains. My long lost friend who recently turned up and announced he was gay didn’t really surpise me at all.

Despite being gay I suspect that my friend would agree with the beliefe that gay “families” produce gay offspring through conditioning. He did state very clearly to me that he believes a child needs to grow up in a normal home with a male mother and a female father.

Gee,this kinda shoots down the old “it’s not a choice..I was born this way” argument.

Seriously--this sentence should be reworded!

Or maybe that is what they literally meant!

The study is very interesting - let’s see how much publicity it receives.

I never quite understood why saying homosexuality os genetic would dispose of the whole gay rights issue. Many behaviors are thought to have a genetic component, from left-handedness to obesity to alcoholism to pedophilia. Even assuming a genetic cause, society still has to decide whether the behavior is harmful or not.

Gays can’t have kids - they only hold other people’s offspring hostage.

“develop a non-heterosexual sexual preference.”

b-b-b-but I thought they were born that way! Jeez, the mere fact they’re doing the research to see if kids of homosexual parents “turn out” homosexual answers the question on the “gay gene”. Argh.

The more apt comparison would be children of homosexual parent(s) raised by homosexuals and the children of homosexual parent(s) raised by heterosexuals.

The comparison, as stated, does nothing to separate out genetic or environmental factors.

It would be like saying that children raised by parent(s) with skin cancer are seven times more likely to have skin cancer some time in their life; is it genetic (pale skin, genetic predisposition), environmental (live in Arizona), or behavioral (the family likes to do things outside and doesn't use sunscreen)?

On the other hand, four of my good friends - men who are completely hetero, with strong, long marriages and children - have effeminite characteristics. Two of them are fellow Air Force Reserve colonels.

I disagree- while there is a certain portion who CHOOSE the lifestyle, and would be glad to TEACH it to others, there is certainly a genetic factor.

I was at a park once enjoying the sunshine when a lesbian oprganization started a meeting and was blasting “music” that had a narrator saying things like “a typical male rapes 4 women in his lifetime” and “a typical male beat up his wife twice a week” and stuff like that.

I started to walk over and ask if they really believe these things and I was stunned. They LOOKED like males with chort hair and I swear somehad beards. You did not even get the vibe that you were around women- you would have thought they were all men except for the boobs.

It convinced me then and there that there had to be a genetic component.

I am not saying there ar not ‘pretty’ lesbians but man this group scared the crap out of me and I am 6’4, 220 and played linebacker.

Thanks - and there’s something very disturbing to me about somehow saying behavior “can’t be helped.” At an extreme, ALL laws, including those against murder, rape and theft, seek to channel what some may consider “natural instincts.”

“Many of these researchers, as well as others, admit that acknowledging differences between homosexually- and heterosexually-parented children would be detrimental to their goals of wide-spread social acceptance of same-sex marriage, homosexual adoption, homosexual foster parenting, etc.”

“Homosexuals, and others who support their cause, understandably desire social and legal acceptance of their lifestyles and partnerships. One of the methods for achieving that goal is to convince the public that homosexual parenting isn’t detrimental to children. Concealing and/or downplaying research findings which reveal that children raised by homosexuals are different in fundamental ways from other children, is part of that socio-political agenda intended to sway voters and judges,” she said.

I don't see a need to fire back at you... YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!

I have also always said that it's a choice to be gay. I think that homosexuals should NEVER be allowed to adopt or raise children.

sorry to burst your bubble, but if you’ve ever been around research and study how research is done, you’ll find that a lot of it is bogus to begin with, especially since you aren’t reading the actual research report but reading a so called analysis from a conservative source. The main point is to be careful when you read such reports from either left or right or mainstream (typically left) papers. They over simplify the results and those writing these articles have no understanding of how research is done.

This isn’t to say that gay parents can or can’t have an effect on how a kid grows up but I’d take this with a grain of salt at this point until.

Massive testosterone injections will produce this result in the absence of a "genetic factor."
