Maybe the prosecuting attorneys don’t want the ACLU whipping in there and crying that this guy can’t get a fair trial because there was so much publicity - oh, yeah, there wasn’t any. That’s ok, they can find another excuse. So maybe it’s not a bad idea for the police and court officials to stay mum until the trial.

Thanks, you have it right. Undo publicity could and would be used by the Defense and the ACLU as preventing him from receiving the holy grail of a FAIR TRIAL. The JURY would have unduly prejudiced before the trial.
The ACLU would have appealed the conviction of Hitler, because of the overwhelming weight of pre-trial publicity that poisoned the jury.
I think it’s more that he’s an african-AMERICAN Muslim that attacked our military on our own soil.

I’m still amazed that I only found out about Rezko’s decades-long relationship with the Black Muslims last week. It showed up in the obituaries of Jabir Herbert Muhammad, the son of Nation of Islam founder Elijah Muhammad of evil memory, whose followers assassinated his rival Malcolm X in 1966.
Jabir’s funeral was quite a success. Both current Nation of Islam boss Louis Farrakhan and The Champ, Muhammad Ali, were in attendance.

I can’t fault the judge in this case. Remember Mike Nifong? Whoever raises the issue of Scott Roeder should keep in mind that Roeder is in Kansas and Carlos Bledsoe (aka Abdulhakim Muhammad) is in Arkansas. “They” are not them. The two jurisditcions have nothing to do with each other.
The Arkansas judge is acting properly. The Kansas judge may not be acting properly, but a gag order only applies to the people directly involved in the trial. It does not apply to the morons at ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, etc. It may be that the lawyers and others in the Roeder case are acting properly and the judge sees no need to issue the order.
Holder has nothing to do with this.
I think the shot he may get is a poison one after he's strapped down to a gurney in the execution chamber.
