...The Audley pub in London's Mayfair has probably had its fair share of tourists from across the Atlantic.
But when First Lady Michelle Obama led her two daughters into the traditional pub for fish and chips last night even the normally unflappable staff were left gobsmacked.
Staff told...of their astonishment as Mrs Obama and her daughters Malia, 10, and eight-year-old Sasha traipsed into the bar....

In order to fit in with the prols, she could have waited until they got home and taken them to Horace and Dickie’s in Northeast for a huge, gorgeous and yummy fish sammich.
I don’t know much about English Cuisine (is that an oxymoron?) but I know that Cinthia Pinto and Adriana Spanova are most certainly NOT GUILTY
Maybe they don’t like curried goat and oxtail.
Of course they support her. If the Obama health plan is enacted, there will actually be Americans seeking superior medical care in England.

Mayfair’s congested enought without the celebs. This must have made things really bad.
Not too sure how genuine the pub is with waitstaff from Spain and Eastern Europe.
That is just downright MEAN. No one can think that looks good. Even people in native costume in national ceremonies are better coordinated than that.
This proves to me that MO wished she were not American, but a citizen queen of some kind of superworld.
For security purposes, go somewhere that no one would think you would go. Not a bad idea. Also, the place could be secured (per Secret Service review).

I think it is kind of nice that she spends as much time as possible with her daughters. Don’t care for that layered look though. I may not appreciate the parents politicis, but I don’t blame the children for them. I am glad they’re getting to see some historic things first hand.
I think she got up and said “I believe I’ll wear the kitchen curtains today.”

I don’t get it.
As one who has spent numerous “summers” in Britain, the chill is extraordinarily cold and damp. Unlike the sweltering summer of 2002, everybody’s attire is typical of the Britain I visited in the Seventies and Eighties. Many establishments lack A/C in the warm temperatures but also lack heat after June 1 (landlords sometimes turn the heat off to save a few quid).
She really needs to lose those boob belts.

In Britain, pubs are family gathering places; hence, the presence of children is OK.
