During the 2000 recount, Joe was a real trooper here in Florida. Was also a fairly conservative congresscritter. But, since joining PMSNBC, he has guided himself, or has been guided, strongly to the left. Sad to see it happen to one who used to be one of the good guys!

He’s going to run against Obama in the Dem primary?
He’s got balls. Kudos.

Alan Colmes is still on FOX? I thought he left. Huh. Have to do some research on that.

Joe just released a new book today...about how to bring the GOP back from the dead...
...soon to be seen on a 50% discount counter...next to Bill Maher's "How I Stopped Wetting the Bed"...at a dollar store near you.

Here’s his problem:
He doesn’t say things that make liberals mad at him. He’s a “safe” conservative. If he said things that made liberals mad at him, he would wonder all of a sudden where all his liberal friends went to.
All of a sudden, opposition research would surface about his drunken days in Pensacola and whatnot. Don’t think, even for a moment, that the Clintons didn’t build a file on this guy.
He wants to get serious? Drop the MSNBC schtick and start stumping for Chris Christie, McDonnell in VA. and John Kasich in OH. Then Republicans will consider taking him seriously. If he’s willing to campaign his guts out and start picking up IOU’s from the Congress critters for the 2010 cycle, that is to say, PAY HIS F**KING DUES, then I say give the boy a chance.
Don’t laugh at anyone who is willing to go out there and campaign for our people this cycle. But first he has to quit that cushy MSNBC gig and get in the game. And he has to get a lot more partisan and start bashing Obama big time.
It doesn’t help that the only people who came to his book party were libs.
Still, it IS a good sign that the up and comers in the party appear to be headed the Blue Collar populist route.
Best,
Chris

Joe is not going to say anything that might jeopardize his fabulous MSDNC television career. He wants us all to get along.
Another lily-livered Republican maroon.

"He (Buckley)voted for Obama. " Exactly. Every time I switch on Scarborough he's either quoting Obama's Buckley or lecturing Conservatives about what a good Republican Obama's Collin Powell is.
Seems like Scarborough wants to build his new Republican party around the "moderates" who rejected the most moderate/"bipartisan" Republican (McCain) to vote for and endorse the most leftist Senator in the Democrat party.
What a joke!
