Newt converted to Catholicism to match the religion of his
third wife?
The same guy who lost other wives through his cheating?!?
I guess the key thing is that your heart is true, but talk about the something stinking of the smell of opportunism....

Newt on board with Global Warming.
Newt thinks Powell is a good Republican and great American.
Well, Newt, great Americans don’t undermine their nation. They don’t backstab. Thanks for your service, Colin, but....
Newt gets no more of my moolah.

0bama will be very beatable in 2012(as he was last year) if a good candidate can be found to run against him. All of the potential candidates that are being floated around today have fatal flaws. We can’t let 0bama have the luxury of running against a terrible candidate again in 2012.
This downward spiral toward Socialism our country is in doesn’t need to go on one more day than it has to. It is CRITICAL for the future of our nation to field a CONSERVATIVE candidate that can defeat Hussein!

Compared to what we have for leaders in the GOP right now, I would say Newt looks pretty good. At least he has a backbone. We aren’t going to find anyone who has everything we are looking for in a presidential candidate - at least Newt is smart, well spoken, mostly conservative and pretty sharp on foreign affairs and economic affairs. I say he is a pretty good choice. He isn’t so afraid to say something bad about Obama or the left for fear of being criticized or offending someone. He is clearly better than McCain was for a choice, and not nearly the pantywaist that most in the GOP are right now.

...typical Post hit piece....anybody that goes to church is considered to be “far right”....it’s the Post’s way of marginalizing Christianity.

No Newt is JUST like Obama... apologizing for every comment.
Yes, the republicans are spineless with no sense of direction

Not quite the "every form of witchcraft" from which Palin's pastor sought to protect her, but then positioning for 2012 has just begun. How often does the Washington Post use the words of Rev Wright to define Obama's political positioning???

We do not care for Newt, Huckabee, or Romney.
We will never again vote for another moderate that leans.
Held our nose during the election voting for McCain. If it had not been for Sarah Palin, we would have sat out the election.
