Not that I would want McCain as President, but you think that Obama is better? You prefer a supporter of Islam?
No. I think they're both sides of the same coin.
You prefer a supporter of Islam? No. You think McCain would speak out against Islam? Mr. "C-c-can't we all j-j-jest get along" himself?
I'm not wasting one of the limited and valuable seconds of my life defending a sack of crap like McCain.
I’m not defending him either - I’m only pointing out just how much worse the winner of that very bad election is.
And another thing: By not supporting the drilling of oil in Alaska, McCain is, in effect, supporting Islam in the sense that Islamic states like Saudi Arabia, Iran, United Arab Emirates, etc., hold us over the proverbial barrel.
Yeah, yeah. I know we get most of our oil from Canadia and Mehico and all that jazz but, still, my point is McCain would do nothing appreciably different than Ubama has done.
That's right. And I include releasing detainees onto American soil and releasing photos of intelligence gathering tactics and grandstanding on waterboarding, etc.
Like we have discussed, McCain, Powell, Gingrich and the rest of the RINOs are only going to continue to cost us our future.
They will all continue to lose, and lose badly. This is because in 2012, the RINOs won't have the money or popular support to even face Obama, let alone defeat him.
As I recall, McCain was an avid supporter of the KLA [1, 2, 3]a loose affiliate of al Qaeda [4]during the Kosovo intervention under Clinton. In fact, he was even endorsed by a group of pro-"greater" Albania lobbyists with links to the KLA, al-Qaeda, and drug trafficking networks [5].
Both of them supported Islamofascists, as far as I am concerned.
I apologize. I didn't mean to accuse you of defending McCain. I guess I'm still pissed off at the way he ran his campaign and hung Gov. Palin out to dry then and now.
I concede that McCain would not be quite as bad as Ubama but I contend that he would not have been all that much better.
Worse?
(snorts)
What can be worse than opposing domestic drilling (de facto funding of Islamic terrorists via Islamic oil-exporting states) and arming al-Qaeda terrorists (KLA), as well as supporting the use of the United States armed forces in support of al-Qaeda terrorists?

McCain chaps my rear!
The U.S. was screwed regardless of who won the last election IMHO. I’m still at a loss as to just how McPain won the Primary - ACORN???
And the New York Slimes.
McCain? Is that the guy who married a beer dealers daughter and then he can't even count his houses when the MSM is baiting him?
McCain? Is that the guy who loved to bang on Bush when the media had the camera in his face, and then he was surprised when they turned on him when he backed into the candidacy.
McCain? Is he the guy who had his campaign manager turn him down because he knew McCain wouldn't be able to take the advice necessary to win?
McCain? Is he the guy who picked the best VP candidate he could have and then turned on her?
Who the freak is that McCain pussy?
Likely so. Of course, the entire field of GOP candidates for President sucked IMHO - Palin brought the only fresh air to an election cycle that stunk. I keep hoping for a field of real conservatives to come to the forefront. Unfortunately I do not see any Reagan Republicans out there other than Palin, and she’s fighting against her own party - pathetic RINO’s.
Mccain is in the same boat as Jimmy Carter, only Jimmy Carter is a bit happier today knowing Zero is headed toward the worst President ever title.
Nor do I. And I've had it with aiding and abetting RATS in Conservative clothing.
Damn right he was.
Recall the Republican Congress was taking a strong anti-intervention stance on Kosovo. There was suspicion that Clinton's motive in Kosovo was to "wag the dog", thus taking attention off of impeachment, Juanita Broaddrick and the Cox Report. (A really good guess, in my opinion).
Whereupon McCain grabbed every microphone he could get, made serial appearances on the Sunday shows and publicly expressed his complete support for Clinton and "the legitimate aspirations of the Kosovars". He stabbed the GOP Senate majority in the back...again. And, for good measure, he stabbed the Serbs, too.
I’m giving very serious consideration to changing my party affiliation to Independent before the 2010 election - not that the GOP would care it seems.
it only takes one. That’s why all Reagan conservatives must line up behind Palin.
