We lost another MARINE today. CWO2 Rick Richardson, from Sullivan,Mo. was lost while defusing an IED in Afghanistan. He had a wife & 2 small children. Prayers up for him & his family, and friends! He is now standing his post in Heaven with Chesty! SEMPER FI!

My knees are doing much better thanks, since I’ve been taking glucosamine and doing some special exercises. We’re well into winter here, it gets to about zero every nite, maybe two below. Raining now: a very cold rain w/low visibility, lots of fog. I might call off Patrol tonite: we’ll take a straw poll amongst The Lads in about an hour’s time.
No point everyone getting Swine Flu’ if the Bad Guys aren’t going to be out-and-about.

Yes, we had some really wild weather last night. There were some great lightening displays. We had almost 1/2” rain, well that is what hit the gage.
