What do you do when your TV show is flopping in the ratings department? If you're Ed Schultz, you desperately attempt to draw attention to yourself by engaging in "Psycho Talk" which, ironically is a segment of MSNBC's The Ed Show that Schultz uses to supposedly demonstrate "Psycho Talk" from conservatives. However, take a look at the crazed Schultz in this video slamming Hugh Hewitt for stating that he would refuse to buy cars from companies taken over by the government. It far exceeds in looniness any "Psycho Talk" that Schultz features in his segment. Here is how TV Squad, no friend of conservatives, describe's Schultz's Psycho Talk:
Whether you agree or disagree with Schultz, is too much to ask that he not succumb to clownish apoplexy to make his point? He even throws in an Elvis karate kick at the midway point of this rant.
The odd thing is Schultz was never quite this militant on his radio program. Opinionated? Sure. Ready to confront? He was paid to do that. But he wasn't wont to physically abuse bits of surrounding furniture.

PING!
Ed Shultz is the radio equivelent of anal leakage.
MSNBC is assisting the media in its denigration of conservatives and linking the events of Tiller and Holocaust Museum to the DHS report.
I saw this show and it was so lopsided and full of outright lies, distortions and omissions that it would have failed in an 8th grade literature class.
There is a war against conservatives taking place and most do not realize it. It is like we are in a 9/10 mentality politcally.
All over FR are stories by major papers, editors, networks playing up the “hate on the right” and using it to justify the Homeland Security report issued this spring.
Facts be damned.
This is very disturbing.
I’ve listened to Ed Schultz for a long time on the radio, but have never watched his tv show. In the last few months, I have noticed that he seems to get more easily agitated. Last week he totally lost it on a caller, and I couldn’t really understand why.
To be fair to Ed though, he is much more independent than most other liberal talk show hosts. He often is critical of Obama, but then the next day, he will come on in full Obama cheerleader mode. This just adds to the weirdness of the show.
Once they can no longer lead public opinion as they write scripts for sitcoms and prepare copy for newscasts they fear Americans will come back to a more American world view.
In my family of 3, we currently own 3 cars and 1 truck.
2 Chevys, 1 Buick and 1 Oldsmobile.
Those are the last GM vehicles we will ever own.
From now on, it will be Ford or Foreign.
But you must see that this time, the left is prepared and willing to destroy us forever. The DHS report, the media linkages between Tiller, Von Brunn and conservatism should make everyone take this extremely seriously.
This guy is a loon.
JoMa
I think Shep Smith would be a great replacement for Schultz.
Psycho Talk? Seems appropriate. I managed to listen to the whole cut, nauseated but resolute. And my conclusion? Yes, Ed Schultz is a psycho.
It is amazing that these clowns can be so wrong.
It’s time to take back the country.
Every TV talking head on the morning shows and evening news shows touted him as the Left's Answer to Rush.
Having miserably failed at that, Ed has now moved to TV to see if he can pull in better ratings than My Mother The Car.
The problem with Ed Schultz is that he is an independent so he does not have any decided issues. He does not agree with the liberals or the conservatives. He is what people call the mushy middle. They want to be part of both worlds but never really get accepted at either group.
Psycho Talk is PMSNBC’s core product.
Coincidence?? None of the moves by the Left are unplanned. This is the same as the talking points that somehow appear on all the networks simultaneously, using the same phraseology. It is part of what you suspect it is.
Willing absolutely. Prepared? Not so much. Remember we endured all of this and more during the first years of clinton. The hostile media, shamelessly slobbering over the 'fresh new first family'; the slander campaign against 'right wing hate radio' and all who listened to it; the politicization of the IRS and other agencies and their use as tools of coercion; etc, etc... What worries me more than this is that we seem not to have learned much from all of that: that the crap from the corporate media still suprises us, that at least some of us take boobs like this Schultz character seriously. Propaganda is only as effective as its monopoly. The media today doesn't have that, not even close. Their bullshit is revealed for what it is eventually, even to the true believers; watch as they follow this dildo's example and also start to crack up under the weight of their own 'cognitive dissonance'. The stuff that matters is the carload of malevolent legislation that a hostile congress is itching to ram through before anyone has a chance to read it.
I’ve had the misfortune of hearing Ed “Turdburger” Shultz on the radio, once for about 5 minutes.
That was all I could stand of the vacuous fleabag.
The words of Dean Wormer from “Animal House” come to mind:
“Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life, son.”
