Yea, that’s been part of my prior questions on a previous thread. $100+ billion? If the two guys split them, they’d each be in Warren Buffet’s class of wealth overnight. If these were real, the sender must have had something on those men - their families, etc.
If these turn out to be legit, the story becomes far more interesting than if this is simple counterfeiting and/or fraud.
Far more interesting. Because the only people who could have accumulated that quantity of US bearer bonds in the years when the US was issuing bearing bonds was the Japanese government.
