CIA Director Leon Panetta says former Vice President Dick Cheney's criticism of the Obama administration's approach to terrorism almost suggests "he's wishing that this country would be attacked again, in order to make his point."
Panetta told The New Yorker for an article in its June 22 issue that Cheney "smells some blood in the water" on the issue of national security.

I have NO doubt that Mr. Cheney isn’t wishing for an attack on the U.S. I do know that many on the left, including Democrat politicians, relished each time an American military person was killed in Iraq. The libs are getting really nervous. 0zero’s poll numbers on the economy are dropping. The only high marks he got lately were on foreign policy, and with the Iran and N.Korea exploding, that won’t last long.
The wheels are starting to come off the 0zero Express and not even his State Run Media will be able to keep covering for him much longer.

When Joe Biden makes a more direct statement on a point than Panetta does, it's clear that Panetta is an utter moron. Panetta is a petty and mean politician, to boot.

With all the evil things the left have said over the years, if you say something counter to their way, they will smear you. So Cheney should just “shut up” and let the left attack him? Panetta scooted out of a comfortable D.C. office one step ahead of a federal investigation/Congressional inquiry. Our nation is at risk with people of his background in any federal office.

I don’t know, even Biden wasn’t dumb enough to bite on this. Bush was constantly criticized on his war on terror. “Experts” were always claiming, “When you kill one terrorist, ten more take his place.” There was constant criticism about U.S. ports not being protected. Yet no one, conservative or liberal said these people were wishing there was an attack to prove their point. If this does not become a major issue in the MSM- or at least Fox- than the country truly is lost.
The CIA is useless and has been since W decided to take his fathers lead and not purge it of leftists.
