Actually there are many RATs who deserve immediate retirement, most to mental institutions. Harry Reid, Pelosi, Murtha and many more fit the prognosis as totally deranged.
Kennedy is a walking ghost. His time is short. Retire already! Gov Swartzenegger recently wrote a kind of eulogy in preparation for his demise. Just imagine the re-make of the JFK funeral they must be planning.
There are no more public works left in WV to put Byrd's name upon, so he can go anytime now. The RATs called Byrd "the conscience of the Senate." So much for lucidity and accuracy.

This thread is three days old, but I just now saw it. Want to set the record straight.
We had a Republican Gov. in the 90s, Cecil Underwood. It was his second time to serve. He was the youngest gov in WV history and the oldest one in his second term. Currently we have a Blue Dog Democrat as Gov. He has been a good one. If we have to have a Dem. Senator, he would be a good one to have. Don't know if he has any ambition for that position.

I’ll be in WV in July. My mother’s 85th birthday is July 21. I try to be home to help celebrate. Each year that she lives is a gift from God. I intend to celebrate one more year because I don’t know how many more years God will keep her with us.
