A nation within a nation. It’s what the muslims want and the hispanics want and it has NEVER worked. Tribal governments are some of the most corrupt entities around. It’s only about a hundred years since Indians should have all realized they and us would be better off if they stop this division nonsense and became AMERICANS.

A interesting comment. In fairness, I added the Czar comment, she didn't. But she qualifies. I've posted a couple threads on Czars today, we actually have more than the Romanovs produced in 3 centuries.

Just a note. This does not mean the Cherokee, or any ethnic group should give up their ‘cultural heritage’, religion, etc. I enjoy and practice much of it. It was part of my upbringing, however I learned the real history instead of only the ‘victim’ viewpoint. I’m talking about governments. Any nation within a nation does not work and the US government handling of the native tribes has proven this.
