This evening, NBC News blasted supporters of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin in her battle with CBS Television Late Night Show host David Letterman over his sexist and sexual jokes about Palin and her teenage daughters, labeling them 'haters' in the headline of an article published tonight on NBC News affiliate websites and MSNBC.
At 7:17 p.m. EDT, the article's original headline read: Haters Launch Website, Call For Letterman's Firing.
At 7:57 p.m., the article's headline had been changed to: Letterman Apologizes--Again--For Palin Joke. The URL for the article remained the same, though: http://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/news/entertainment/Haters-Launch-Web-Site-Call-For-Lettermans-Firing.html
The article was also re-written so that the focus was on Letterman's latest attempt at an apology issued at the taping today of tonight's program rather than the demonstration calling for Letterman's firing being held tomorrow afternoon outside the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City where the Late Show is taped.

NBC NEWS STATEMENT REGARDING CHELSEA CLINTON COMMENT:
On Thursday's "Tucker" on MSNBC, David Shuster, who was serving as guest-host of the program, made a comment about Chelsea Clinton and the Clinton campaign that was irresponsible and inappropriate.
Shuster, who apologized this morning on MSNBC and will again this evening, has been suspended from appearing on all NBC News broadcasts, other than to make his apology.
He has also extended an apology to the Clinton family.
NBC News takes these matters seriously, and offers our sincere regrets to the Clintons for the remarks.
With every attack against Governor Palin we must become closer to her. Do not allow her to be cut off from her support network or isolated. It is not just Sarah Palin they are scared of - they fear her ability to attract 20,000 people anywhere she might speak. If they attack her, but then she draws 50,000 to support her anywhere she goes then they have failed.

The key for Palin to win 270 electoral votes (assuming she is the nominee) will be in the upper midwest and mid-atlantic. we know she has the deep South. we need OH, VA and NC back. and we need Michigan, Minnesota and surrounding states.
5. Of the names being thrown around for 2012 she will most likely win Nebraskas primary as well. That is as long as there are true conservatives left on the ballot in May. Last year I had a choice of McCain or Paul by the time I got to vote.

A quick Lexisnexis search will reveal the thousands of negatively biased and slanderous comments made against George W Bush, Dick Cheney, Condalessa Rice, Justice Thomas and other conservative public figures.

What is especially egregious is your failure to report (or more likely the deliberate omission) of certain key news stories, many of which would have been instrumental in assisting the public to form educated opinions.
The fact that you actually failed to cover or broadcast Bush press conferences is a pretty good indicator of this.

The thing I fear most about the primaries is that in 2012 there will be no competition against Obama in the Democratic primaries, so the 'Rats will be climbing all over the Republican primary. They know this ahead of time so even in the closed primary states they'll be planning to reregister long enough in advance to screw with us. In 2008 they had to stay home to participate in the Hillary/Obama 'rat fight.

Hannity could have done a much better job, he keeps on harping on the “Slutty flight attendant” good Lord, there was SO much more then just that..the remark about Willow, Letterman was basically asking for this child to be raped. I don’t see any difference between someone saying something racially insensitive about someone and someone asking for the rape of a little girl. Letterman also implied that Sarah was a racist, and Letterman, the next day after he KNEW he was talking about Willow and NOT Bristol, he said that Elliot Spitzer got with Willow, or something to that affect, saying that Willow was a prostitute. I love Hannity but he was an epic fail in that debate. I could have done better
