Palestinian sources reported Tuesday that former US president Jimmy Carter was the target of a thwarted assassination attempt, according to Israel Radio.
Reportedly, there was a cluster of explosive devices stashed near a road he was scheduled to travel during a visit to the Gaza Strip.

Carter and the Democrats are enemies of Israel. Hamas no doubt planted the “bomb” so they could accuse Israel of doing it.
I used to think Carter was the dumbest president we’ve ever had, but he now has some stiff competition. Could be a toss-up.

Hey, how did you do that?!

My younger brother worked for HFH at multiple locations. Their houses actually stand up better than homes done by professionals. The reason is simple.
Professionals will build according to specification. If a shingle calls for two roofing nails, that's all they will get. The HFH amateurs, unable to place the shingles exactly right will pound in three or even four nails-- not uniform and not efficient with material, but better able to withstand the next storm for which the specification was insufficient.

The media is trying to say that Hamas discovered this bomb and saved Jimmah. Fox just reported this dufus just asked that Hamas be removed from the terrorists list.

Only reporting what I read here on FR:
"RESIDENTS of a model housing estate bankrolled by Hollywood celebrities and hand-built by Jimmy Carter, the former US president, are complaining that it is falling apart. Fairway Oaks was built on northern Florida wasteland by 10,000 volunteers, including Carter, in a record 17-day blitz organised by the charity Habitat for Humanity."LINK

Jimmuh needs to go to Iran to fix that election. Yep, they need to take him up on a platform in front of the crowd and openly declare that, "This is the man who almost single handedly brought you the Mullah rule. A close friend of the Former ruler Komeni(sp?) and a lover of Imanutjob! Give him a big hand!". Think they would welcome him with open arms?

I don’t think it was a real attempt. If Hamas found the bomb then they probably planted it in order to “save” Carter so they could point a finger at Israel. You have to know how facists minds work.

How irrelevant is Jimmy Carter?
Why won’t he just go away?
Does he truly think he, alone, can bring peace to the middle east?
And he actually thinks that Hamas should be taken off the “terrorist” list?
All rhetorical questions of course....

Why would Hamas want to kill their best friend?
I suppose it for the same reason they’re willing to front their spouses and children in areas they know will be a target.
To: Jewbacca
Even if the arabs managed to kill Carter, I doubt Obama would respond against them.Sure he would. He and Hillary would express their deep concern, and threaten to take the matter to the UN Security Council for further sanctions.

Actually, he might be cutting in on Obama's belief that only he, Dear Leader, can bring peace to the Middle East. That could be more dangerous to the peanut than anything else.

The very least the attack could have done was cream his limo, and given him a heart attack. Carter has never done anything good for this country and his years in office were a disaster. Many Presidents have gone down the same road. Jimmy Carter not only goes down the road, he consistently trashes this country and our best friends around the world. The struggling Democracy in Israel is at the top of his hate list.

Thanks for the link. It appears my kid brother knows more about building houses than Jimmy Carter. Considering my pet guinea pig understands more about the nature of Islamofacism (she has the sense to pee on newprint photos of BO), I guess it isn’t a stretch.

Google the video clip of Mike Wallace and Peter Jennings talking about loyalty "as Americans" vs. being an "objective" journalist when you learn of the enemy targeting US troops.
They won't intervene to save US lives.

Carter is obsessed with grabbing headlines while he sickeningly stands arm-in-arm with America's & Israel's most vile enemies. This is the same soulless schmuck who is responsible for pulling the Persian carpet from under the Shah, allowing for despotic Shi'ite savages controlling Iran's vast oil reserves, in which billions in profits have been used to spread Shia Islamic terrorism ever since 1979.
Does Carter support the so-called Iranian 'elections' as Obama does?

Earlier, Carter had been quoted as saying he was holding back tears when surveying the deliberate destruction in Gaza following Israel's Operation Cast Lead earlier this year, Israel Radio reported. Carter said that it was distressing to see the devastation in Gaza but also to see Kassams falling on Sderot.
The way to stop this is through dialogue and peace, Carter told reporters.
No fool like an old fool. And this is an old and dangerous fool.
