thanks for posting! Marked to read later.
I suggest you are incapable of answering a simple question. That is my suggestion.
You said — My 21 year-old Son believes in God and has visited the Creation Museum simply out of curiosity. He is a bright, intelligent hard working kid with a good head on his shoulders, and a damn sight smarter than some of the smug posters here on FR.

Well, just walking in the door made him a lot smarter than the rest of these “nattering nabobs of negativity” — right off the bat... LOL...
It’s kinda like staying at the Holiday Inn Express, doncha know... :-)
I hear that people that open the Bible and read it are a lot smarter, too...
[... no joke, I’m serious... ]
sorry you don’t like my suggestion... some don’t, but that’s life...
We were there in February. It was fabulous, and there is more to do in the spring and summer because they have lots of outdoor stuff too. You can pack a lunch or eat in their cafes.
Plan on staying overnight and going the second day to see the things you miss the first day.
The hotels in the area have packages and discounts. We stayed at the Country Inn and Suites/Cincinnati airport because they had a pool.
You said — You seem to be proudly drawing some conclusion from a previous post of mine, but I have no idea what youre talking about.

Quite understandable..., if one takes into consideration Romans 1:16-32... :-)
I disagree that it was well presented. For example, they propose that men and dinosaurs lived in the same time period (even show dinosaurs on the ark).
They say: we have not found any human and dinosaur fossils together. That doesn't disprove our theory, we just haven't found them yet.
They also assert that some large number of archeological finds have proven portions of the Bible to be true. They give no further information. If you have it, give it to me.

I was thinking it would be a two-day affair... :-)
Thanks for your good report.
If your _actually_ interested and not just throwing a challenge out,
read Lee Stroebel’s “Case for...” books.
No, they do show Adam and Eve with dinosaurs before the Fall.
Adam and Eve?
bump
Smugly noncommunicative—nice combinaition. Ping me when you want to have a conversation.
I wasn’t saying that I was there and I said it — I said it was someone else’s statement about the place.
However, when I do get to see it myself, I’ll give you my report, here on Free Republic. I would be more than happy to do that.
But, in any case, I have no idea why those particular educators would make a statement like that, unless that was their feeling. I can only take them at their word.
Be sure you get the ticket that gives you access to the planetarium show, it is really amazing.
The main exhibit is the tour through time, starting with creation. You wind down through and see the effects of sin on the world. When we thought we were coming to the end, there was more and more. It is very well done.
Anyone who thinks this is a silly flat earthy thing needs to go there and see it for themselves.
Thanks for your recommendations. I’ll keep them in mind when I get ready to go...

Oh..., I’ve known for a very long time, from reading the Bible and knowing that God’s Word is perfect and inerrant, that this is far from any fable or some “flat-earth” idea.
It’s those others who “suppress the truth of God in unrighteousness” and pass off the “wisdom of man” as knowing better and more than God Himself, who made it all... LOL... what fools!
Just what do the “leaners on their own wisdom” think they want to accomplish by throwing rocks at people of faith, anyway?

As I’m sure you well know..., most who are asking never really want to know the answer. I mean, in this age of Internet communications and ample information on the Internet, plus all the books written on the subject and so, so many Apologetics ministries around..., you wouldn’t have to refer someone to materials that they are asking for. I mean, it’s *all over the place*.... LOL...
Therefore, when someone starts asking for information, right away that’s a clue that they really don’t want it... :-)
Actually, I was challenging the idea that the information in the museum was well presented. To make an assertion but completely fail to back it up doesn't equal a good presentation for a museum IMO. Even a handout with a list and a source would have satisfied me.
I am aware of Lee Stroebel's books, thanks. One of these days they might be available at my library!

You know..., it’s quite a funny thing... but I’ve noticed that not only do some of these people *not want to accept the truth* for themselves... they get mad if *I* don’t join them in *not accepting the truth* — too... LOL...
I mean, the way I look at it, is that I don’t get mad at others for being fools and rejecting the truth of God — I feel sorry for them and know they are destined for the lake of fire if they refuse God’s provision of salvation for themselves.
BUT, in their case, *they* will actually *get mad* for what I believe... LOL...
[... and start calling me a long list of names that they’ve saved up for a while... ]
