On Sunday, July 5, 2009, 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, the San Jose Tea Party will hold a rally protesting Obama's Government run Healthcare initiative. The rally will be at the corner of Winchester Blvd. and Stevens Creek Blvd. (Santana Row and Valley Fair Mall). In the spirit of limited government and fiscal responsibility, the protest is designed to get the "Stop Government Run Healthcare" message out to folks traveling the busiest intersection in town. Bring signs, flags, noisemakers, etc. We are expecting a huge turn-out. Spread the word and see you on the 5th!
Come join us or find an event in your local area.
I wonder how liberals are able to do their protests on the same day.
Dammit. I’ve got a family commitment I can’t slither out of that weekend.
Please put me on a pinglist for future events.
See you there.

Thanks for the info.
I live near there (well, I do until for the next couple days anyway) and there are various leftards protesting on that corner almost every weekend. During the height of the Iraq action they were there almost every single day.
I’ll try to make it out there.
Oh, I know. We countered them for awhile on Saturdays.
bumpity bumped bump
Bump
ßumpity ßumped ßump.
Based on that I came to the conclusion that the main reason you don’t see right-wing protestors every day of the week is because most of us righties work for a living.
Speaking of work. I’m going to post this on every relevant thread. There are jobs in WV. Our governor is giving a big push for people to come to WV and stay. I want those people coming to WV to stay to be conservatives. So all of you out there who are looking to relocate or looking for a job, go to www.hometowv.com and check out the jobs and business links. Wish I knew how to make a working link, but alas, I’m computer challenged.
So join the local TEA party down where you will be. :)
Badda bump!
Lot of folks out of town that weekend.
Even those who don't think that they will have to pay for ObamaCare - usually elderly and others who receive fully paid or government-subsidized medical care - because they only think in terms of personal income taxes and "the rich paying their fair share," are worried about rationing and understand that it will come at their expense. Once ObamaCare is associated or equated with rationing, it's Dead On Arrival with no chance of revival.
I hear that California is already cutting some services in their MediCal program, even without having to insure the currently uninsured, i.e. "more people" which is the centerpiece of ObamaCare. That needs to be pointed out - that's the way to "reach out and touch" these people.
Obama is trying to use people's fears and insecurities of being "uninsured" to push his program, minimizing the cost and the impact. Make them fear ObamaCare, by showing at least the part of real cost and the impact that will affect them personally - and that is rationing.
I will try to make it for a few minutes.
Palin 2012
I was at the City of Novato, 4th of July Parade today and there were folks from the Marin County Tea Party who participated in the parade and received the second loudest applause, second only to the Survivors of Pearl Harbor, based on what I personally heard. Very refreshing in one of the MOST liberal counties in the United States.
I’m shocked.
One time I marched in a Constitution Day parade in Santa Monica (Santa Communista) with the Second Amendment Sisters and we were booed. Of course the ACLU clowns behind us were cheered.
Thanks for the advice.
