SEOUL, South Korea North Korea's massive stockpile of chemical weapons is as threatening as its nuclear program, analysts said Thursday, highlighting an aspect of the secretive regime's pursuit of weapons of mass destruction that is rarely talked about.

I thought they lacked the protective equipment to fight on a chemical battlefield. Kinda makes them useless for taking the south. Still be good terror weapon for murdering civilians I guess.
Incinerate them all. Seriously, how tough would it be to pinpoint a strike on that little mutant bastard. With a surgical strike on the leadership and a blitkrieg-style invasion, we could wrap these guys up in a matter of weeks. The populace would be overjoyed, if only because they would be eating.
I read an unclassified US government circular back in the early 90’s that claimed NK was in possession of thousands of metric tons of various chemical weapons including mustard gas, blister, and nerve agents, ready for deployment in standard field artillery shells.
Considering the number of artillery tubes targeting Seoul, chem weapons would destroy the city’s population in short order.
And one well placed nuke, granted with a whole lot of luck, would keep a fleet at bay long enough to use them until they run out, as well as invite the chinese to come in as a “sheild”.
>Incinerate them all.<
Douglas Mac is that you?
While we'd get them eventually it's entirely possible nearly a million South Korean civilians would die.
I bet more than a million. Mustard gas is heavy, and runs downhill.
If I were a kenyan in hawaiian clothing, I would pull my fleet away and start running bomber patrols. Massive pullout of ground forces too. At least on film. And use ABC to show footage of it to the world.
When rattling sabres, a claymore makes a more rubust clang...
True, but I don’t know how much enthusiasm the North would have for simply slaughtering civilians while the two most tech advanced armies are rolling up through your territory. Perhaps that’s not a risk that should be taken though, given the potential for civilian deaths.
Sounds like they would have to be immediately disabled. Wonder if that could be done with minimal losses?
I reckon they'd show more than enough enthusiasm.
Quickly send your plan to TOTUS so the world can be saved.
LOL! This is my fantasy and bears no resemblence to reality!
Seriously I do worry. This is provocation designed to place economic hardship on the US. The north can sit and wait in abject poverty for a long time as long as they don’t pull the trigger first.
Funny how a big factor in 0s election was this idea of “change” and now it sure does seem like someone who had been there and done that ends up just a little bit more savvy on the situation.
