Fisk witnesses the courage of one million protesters who ignored threats, guns and bloodshed to demand freedom in Iran
see link below
There was a day when the POTUS would come out and support the struggle for democracy as well as free and fair elections. Haven’t heard much from Obama or Jimmy Carter for that matter. He is usually running around the world to observe elections.
My heart goes out for the brave people of Iran who are risking their lives in the streets. How many of us would do the same if tyranny comes to the USA? We may get a chance to find out.
can someone on this board please explain to me how it came about that we and Robert Fisk are on the same side of any issue in the world?
What a moving article about the millions of Iranians demanding freedom, and willing to face the Ayatollah’s goon squads to get it.
If these people were armed, it would already be over.
== Now THAT’s a Tea Party. ==
I hope and pray that we can muster the same (or better) on 9/12 in Washington DC.
We must force our government to change course.
