Oversight: If the White House really believes that AmeriCorps' inspector general was "confused" and "disoriented," how about open congressional hearings where the American people can see for themselves?The storm that erupted after the firing with one hour's notice of Gerald Walpin, the inspector general overseeing AmeriCorps, has not died down. Pressed for an explanation as to the reasons for the firing and why the law requiring Congress to be given notice and reasons 30 days in advance was not followed, the White House has resorted to old-time Chicago-style political smears.

This guy was looking into the waste at Americorps, one of Obama’s stimulus programs. He had to go. The Chicago “Godfather” gave the order.
Therefore a full judicual hearing review or whatever should be the order of the day. Obama broke the law, and obviously is involved in theft from the people.
This is an example of what the Chrysler bond holders were threatened with.
Of course the White house went to smear mode. The guy was out for Obamas buddie Kevin Johnson. Obama stopped him. Obama is utterly corrupt and uses Machine Politics. He is an utter bastard and I absolutely hate the people in the White House right now.
But then this is nothing new. Expect more of it.
Walpin is in extreme jeopardy. For Obama to survive, they must completely destroy him, by ANY means necessary.
Without his teleprompter Obamam appears far more “confused” and “disoriented” than Walpin.
The Obama Administration proves (as if it had to be proved here) that combining Chicago thug-politics with 1960s Marxist-Alinsky street rabble (and the ideological issue of same) is deadly for freedom and America.
Obama cannot succeed without pressure on civil servants to do his bidding. I expect to see their patriotism challenged -- and perhaps even their careers and, indeed, even their lives threatened.

Run for Office Walpin, show back up in Congress and BHOle can’t Fire you.

Does anyone know if Walpin has legal recourse on his own? McCaskill gave lip service to the breaking of the 30 day notification law, but quickly backed down. Congress isn’t going to do squat.
It will be interesting as more Obama policies unravel and are exposed for the frauds they are *and* unemployment continues to rise to see how the Dems will run their 2010 campaigns. Summer heat is coming on, people sitting at home with no jobs will get pretty cranky.
