We our honored that both President George H. W. Bush and President George W. Bush have joined the Move America Forward effort to provide a record number of care packages for our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. They join a growing list of participants as MAF is putting the finishing touches on our lineup for the fast approaching “Honor Their Service” troopathon.
Last year MAF shipped a record breaking 12,000 care packages to the troops and to break that record just one year later, MAF needs a historic effort from our supporters and from the American people. With the support of our 41st and 43rd presidents, our effort is obviously catching the attention of some power players!
But no matter what celebrities and diplomats we get support from, it’s up to you to help us reach our goal. We still have much work to before our June 25th deadline and we need to get as many care package orders as we can this week! Please join with the presidents and sponsor a care package for the troops.
President George H.W. Bush and President George W. Bush were steadfast in support for our troops. President H.W. led our troops into the first Gulf War to intervene when Saddam Hussein invaded the weaker Kuwait to seize their rich oil fields. Our heroic men and women liberated the country of Kuwait and drove Saddam’s forces back to Baghdad after 100 days of bombing and a brilliant 3 day land campaign.
George W. Bush was our president on September 11, 2001 when terrorists attacked the World Trade Center and murdered 3,000 innocent Americans. President Bush vowed never to let terrorists attack America again. He led the nation through the most difficult times, through wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and thanks to his policies and leadership, and the professionalism and skill of our brave troops, no terrorists have been able to carry out a successful attack on U.S. soil in the 7 years since 9/11.
Bush 41 and 43 were both war time presidents. They had to send our military men and women into battle, and they carried the weight of that decision with them. They both loved our military and the sacrifices our troops make. Here is an excerpt from a letter written by President George W. Bush to Move America Forward, expressing his support for our troops.
“I appreciate all those who support our military and their families, and I am grateful to the staff of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library for hosting this important event. Your efforts pay tribute to the enduring accomplishments of these American heroes and help us honor their service.”

Right now - as you read this email - there are over 100,000 men and women of the United States military who are serving overseas in Iraq & Afghanistan. They were not drafted to serve, they signed up on their own free will to serve the country they love and respect.
No matter what your views are in regards to the "War on Terror" I know you share my deep admiration and respect for these men and women of our military.
It's gotten to the point in this country where the service of these men and women is often taken for granted. Our troops' Commander in Chief, Barack Hussein Obama, doesn't seem to have a clear vision about the role of our troops and their missions. At times he's even blown them off or disrespected them - more concerned with photo-ops and his own personal ambition, rather than the welfare of our military men and women serving in a hot war zone.
Can you imagine that? Stop for a moment and put yourself in the shoes of our military men and women... RIGHT NOW they are in a foreign land away from their families, friends and loved ones, and they serve under a Commander in Chief who has an ill-defined sense of what they should be doing and what value they serve.
Some of our troops will never come home from their missions. Others of them will forever be impacted by the dark side of war that comes as part of the price some pay in serving this nation bravely and honorably.
Well, we here at Move America Forward are asking YOU as a fellow patriotic American to join with us in sending this message to our troops: We will ALWAYS appreciate you and your service... we will NEVER take for granted the risks you face or those who have given their lives in service to this nation.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck is a force to be reckoned with on “The View.” If there is one thing Elisabeth Hasselbeck is MOST famous for, it’s having the staying power to spend hours on the set of “The View” taking constant ridicule from the rest of the cast who outnumber her 4 to 1 and attack her for her conservative views on a daily basis. She has an enormous amount of courage to stand up to constant attacks
According to Matthew Felling, editor of Public Eye, Elisabeth Hasselbeck represents “an audience that the left just can’t crack: traditional, God-fearing red state women, well-intended, who have made up their minds and won’t be easily persuaded.”
Kylie Williams, beauty queen and pro-troop activist, is yet another exciting addition to our already amazing lineup! In 2007, the Florida Department of Veteran Affairs named Williams “Official Ambassador for Veteran’s Advocacy,” which allows her to travel all over the state of Florida fighting for veterans rights, educating veterans on how to gain access to their benefits as well as visiting veterans in hospitals and homes.
During the 2007 Christmas holiday, Kylie Williams visited the troops at Guantanamo Bay with Move America Forward’s Debbie Lee and Melanie Morgan, pictured below with some of our troops.

Mark Levin and Dennis Miller: More Radio Giants Join MAF Care Package Effort
Celebrities are lining up for Move America Forward’s Troopathon, which is now ONLY 6 DAYS away and the excitement is growing every day. We just nailed down time slots for radio legends Mark Levin and Dennis Miller who will be joining the effort to send history’s largest care package to our troops serving overseas.
MAF has already kicked off the presales event to boost the number of care packages sponsored for our troops in Iraq, Afghanistan and Guantanamo Bay. Radio hosts like Mark Levin, Dennis Miller, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Dr. Laura Schlessinger, Laura Ingraham, and more have teamed up to assist us in raising the money for these care packages.
Radio hosts, especially Levin, Miller and other conservative talkers like them, have always stood by our troops. When anti-war, and anti-American radicals shout and riot in the streets in an attempt to besmirch our troops to fulfill a political agenda, Dennis Miller defended our troops, just as Move America Forward and our supporters were out on the streets defending the reputation of our brave men and women in uniform.

Levin gained massive popularity this year when he released his book “Liberty and Tyranny” which shot up first place on Amazon’s best sellers list. It currently remains at #2, bested only by Glenn Beck’s recently released book. Liberty and Tyranny has remained in Amazon’s top 100 list for an incredible 122 days and Mark’s book signing events generated lines long enough to stretch around the block.
We are extremely lucky to have to support of leaders such as Mark Levin and Dennis Miller! They understand why our troops are so important to our nation. Our troops are doing a dangerous job, putting their own lives on the line, to protect us at home. Please don’t forget about them.

Troopathon Bump!
While accurate, the description of Mark Levin’s book is a little misleading.
It is the big dog in the fight, being on the top seller list for 122 straight days. The Glenn Beck book came out just a couple of weeks ago and has an initial surge.
But, no question at this point that Mark’s book is #1.
I saw Mark Levin on Hannity's show the other nite, and he said there are a million of his books in print, and (I forget the exact number) 6 or Seven Hundred Thousand sold!
I haven't read Mark's book yet, but I know it is probably the most important book out there for conservatives these days.
A Conservative Manifesto was needed, I have read some of the points he covered there.
