The fate of three of nine foreigners abducted in Yemen last week is known their bodies were found, shot execution style. The whereabouts of the other six including three children under the age of 6 remain a mystery.
But terrorism experts say their abductors and killers are almost certainly not a mystery. They say the crimes bear the mark of Al Qaeda, and they fear they are the handiwork of the international terror organization's No. 2 man in the Arabian Peninsula: Said Ali al-Shihri, an Islamic extremist who once was in American custody but who was released from the U.S. detention center in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
And if al-Shihri is behind the gruesome murders and abductions, they say, it raises grave concerns that the scheduled January 2010 closing of the Guantanamo prison and the release of most of its prisoners to foreign countries will galvanize Al Qaeda and compromise American national security.
The nine foreigners four German adults, three small German children, a British man and a South Korean woman were abducted on June 12 after they ventured outside the city of Saada without their required police escorts,
Christians arent allowed to proselytize in the Muslim world, and if thats what was going on here ... well then, there you go.
Rep. Peter King (R-NY), Ranking Member on the House Homeland Security Committee, opposes closing Gitmo and says Obama is rushing "helter skelter" to find homes for the remaining detainees to meet his "arbitrary deadline," which he says may come at the cost of national security.
The presidents policies are very very disturbing. He appears to have decided to close Guantanamo without any idea of where these detainees are going to go

Sadly, most of us knew this was coming.
And so it begins.

Yes, of course, when it comes to the grotesque brutality of the barbaric Mohammedan savages, it’s always the victim’s fault.
As for Guantanamo, it didn’t take long to prove how wrong is our Teleprompter in Chief, that ZER0 of an empty suit.
Obama’s fault. Oh, and John McCain’s fault.
Chrissie Matthews called G a “torture factory” yesterday.
Disgusting.
Anything for a tingle...
This guy was released in 2007.
My first thought was that these were stealth missionaries, especially with one of the victims being South Korean.
However, I would guess that they were staff at this hospital:
http://www.sghgroup.ae/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=37&Itemid=79
which is part of the “Saudi German Hospital Group” which is part of the Bait Al-Batterjee Group, a Saudi group.
This looks like a pretty good group started by US educated Saudi doctors and engineers.
Either way, the scum who kidnapped and killed these hospital workers and their children need to be hunted down, publicly and Islamically humiliated and then killed.

9 Abducted Foreigners, Including 3 Children, Found Dead in Yemen
Chrissy should man up and allow the detainees at Gitmo to live with him.
Thanks for pointing that out.
It’s very likely he was still traumatized and resentful at not having been given his Miranda warning when US troops arrested him. So, please, go easy on him, he’s just trying to deal with that trauma in his own way, and appreciates all the love and support he’s sensing from the US government, and hopes he can put closure to it soon.
“Obamas fault. Oh, and John McCains fault.”
In point of fact, it was the Bush Administration which released him...Bush’s fault, for real!
Technically, you are right. But since Jan. 20, anything bad that happens is Obama’s fault, and no longer Bush’s fault. Sorry, but those are the rules.
“But since Jan. 20, anything bad that happens is Obamas fault, and no longer Bushs fault. Sorry, but those are the rules”
LOL!!! OK, I’ll remember that!
“Three small German children......” And we have a president who grovels, apologizes, and panders to the vermin who murdered them.
Needless to say, I won’t be taking any cruises to Bermuda anytime soon. Those 4 Al Quaeda guys there are probably recruiting more already and planning to blow up a cruise ship.
They are all animals.
That these people would return to terrorism was entirely predictable.
“Chrissie Matthews called G a torture factory yesterday.”
Matthews is a lying SOB.

Stumpp and Gruenwald attended a Bible school, and Young attended a Christian missionary school in South Korea. Other members of the group had ties to missionary organizations, and all six adults worked for World Wide Services Foundation, a Dutch international medical relief group."

Freed by U.S. (former Gitmo detainee), Saudi Becomes a Qaeda Chief
New York Times ^ | Jan. 22, 2009 | ROBERT F. WORTH
Posted on January 22, 2009 8:15:01 PM PST by FocusNexus
The emergence of a former Guantánamo Bay detainee as the deputy leader of Al Qaedas Yemeni branch has underscored the potential complications in carrying out the executive order President Obama signed Thursday that the detention center be shut down within a year.
The militant, Said Ali al-Shihri, is suspected of involvement in a deadly bombing of the United States Embassy in Yemens capital, Sana, in September. He was released to Saudi Arabia in 2007 and passed through a Saudi rehabilitation program for former jihadists before resurfacing with Al Qaeda in Yemen.
His status was announced in an Internet statement by the militant group and was confirmed by an American counterterrorism official.

“Former Gitmo detainee accused of killing 3 missionaries”
Chad Groening - OneNewsNow - 6/23/2009 6:40:00 AM
SNIPPET: “A best-selling author and critic of Islam says he can’t understand why U.S. President Barack Obama and the United Nations are not expressing more outrage over the execution-style murder of three Christian missionaries in Yemen, apparently by al Qaeda.”
According to a spokesman from the Yemeni Embassy in Washington, nine foreign nationals — four German adults, three small German children, a British man, and a South Korean woman — were abducted on June 12 after they ventured outside the city of Saada without their required police escorts.
Days later the bodies of German nurses Rita Stumpp and Anita Gruenwald, and Eom Young-sun of South Korea were found shot execution style in an area known to be a hotbed of Al Qaeda activity. The fate of the remaining six abducted people remains a mystery.
Terrorism experts say the crimes bear the mark of Al Qaeda, and they fear they are the handiwork of the international terror organization’s number two man in the Arabian Peninsula — Said Ali al-Shihri, an Islamic terrorist who once was in American custody but who was released from the U.S. detention center in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
Robert Spencer is, director of Jihad Watch, says this illustrates the folly of Obama’s plan to close GITMO and release potentially dangerous prisoners.”

Yemen: Abducted Christians Still Missing
Fate of German Family and British Engineer Unknown
By Wolfgang Polzer
Special to ASSIST News Service
SAADA (ANS) — Six weeks after their abduction in Yemen there is still no word about the whereabouts of a German Christian family and a British citizen.
The development worker, his wife, their three children and the British engineer were kidnapped in mid-June during an outing near Saada in North Yemen.
They were with two German bible school students and a South Korean teacher. They were found murdered on June 12.
The nine Christians were working at the Al Jumhuri hospital in Saada, which has since been closed for security reasons. The humanitarian agency Worldwide Services, based in the Netherlands, has withdrawn all staff members.
As a close family member of the missing Germans told the evangelical news agency idea that there is no news about the fate or the whereabouts of the hostages. No ransom demand has been made.
It is most likely that the Christians were abducted for religious reasons. Apparently the German development worker was seen talking to a man about the bible. The family wanted to return to East Germany next year, when their youngest daughter is due to start school.
The Bishop of the Lutheran Church in Saxony, Jochen Bohl, has asked for intercession on behalf of the missing Christians.
In the last 15 years at least 200 foreigners have been kidnapped in Yemen. In most cases, they were set free after ransom payments.
It is not the first time that Muslim extremists have murdered hospital workers in Yemen. Two men killed three US-citizens at a Baptist hospital in Jibla, December 30, 2002. Another American was wounded. The culprits were later convicted and sentenced to death.
Yemen is one of the strictest Islamic countries. 99 percent of the 21 million inhabitants are Muslims. Small groups of Christians gather in secret.
