The fellow who wrote this seems to be a touch crazed with his smarmy comments about Gov. Palin, and connecting her to Nancy Pelosi is a gross mischaractorization of what Letterman did and said. That Letterman used a child in order to further his own political (read ultra-liberal) agenda is beyond the pale, but this jerk writer missed that completely.

At least he was sensitive enough to write this: The standard here is to think of Bristol as our own child who did not ask to be a public figure. Ridiculing her violates an elementary standard of decency ignored, if not trampled on, by Letterman and his writers.

There is no decency anymore, and the childish frat-boy humor proves it.
