Her name was Neda, which means “voice” in Farsi. According to numerous online accounts picked up by media outlets worldwide, she was shot in the streets by Iranian state police while protesting today. This is what repression looks (warning: graphic):

—I just wish this had happened a year ago when we had a real President in the White House and not a fraudulent interloper. —

Are you saying Zero won because the ballot boxes were stuffed. I though he won because most voters did not want Grandpa Munster as POTUS. Learn something new, I guess. (sarc)

—Says the man who thinks conservatism is debased by a cold look at reality.—

This is the same crap the libs pulled when the posted pictures of that nitwit (and Darwin Award winner) Rachel Corrie who got all bloodied because she laid in the path of an Israeli bulldozer.

Pat Buchanan (a true conservative...

Hahahahahaha...Hohohohoho.....Hehehehehe...ROFLMAO... Buchanan? Conservative? OMG...that's funny.

Buchanan ain't conservative. He's a nasty little anti-Semitic fascist liberals trot out when they need someone to validate their own hatreds.

If there were Iranian soldiers fighting against a pro-US government in Mexico, I’d imagine we’d be sending the Mexican Army some lethal goodies to kill Iranian soldiers (at the very least).

How is this analogous to the Iranian involvement in Iraq killing our soldiers?

Pat Buchannan is a smart man, but he has the old school chatechism Jew-Hating disease. It leads him to almost every opinion he has. He probably thinks supporting change in Iran would be a secret plot to help the Joooooooos,,

Simple, if you actually took the time to think about. The Iranians don’t like having what they see as an enemy army next door. Why we are there, well, that’s a subject for another thread entirely.

I knew someone would dust off the worn out old canard (and it IS a canard) about Pat B. being an “anti-semite”, just because his lips are not firmly locked around Israel’s jock.

It's not porn. You have eyewitness, real-time video of an innocent civilian dying after being shot in the chest, and you call it porn.

What part of "Free" and "Republic" don't you get?

I’m calling troll. IBTZ? Read the posting history and how many times he has accused people of being NeoCons.

So there’s only one kind of conservatism you tolerate, ponygirl? Seems like you have the same mindset as the mullahs.

We dont want to meddle. However, I havent noticed the Iranians concern about meddling in Iraq when they supply high powered explosives that kill American soldiers with IEDs.

The scumbags who interfered in Iraq with EFPs, mortars and rockets are the very ones the Iranian people are rising up against.

The Shah was overthrown with the connivance of Dhimmi Carter.

Interesting that you appear to be backing Carter's second coming, and the theocracy Carter started, over unarmed civilians being gunned down like dogs.

But let me guess, you oppose Palin because she'd institute religious control of the state...

You are very poorly informed. You should probably do some research about Iran and the people that live there, rather than the superficial BS that you think you might know.

“Merciful Father, I have squandered my days with plans of many things. This was not among them. But at this moment I beg only to live the next few minutes well. For all we ought to have thought, but have not thought. All we ought to have said, but have not said. All we ought to have done but have not done. I pray thee, God, for forgiveness.”

She live her last moments ‘WELL” and I hope that such courage would find a finial reward no matter what one’s faith was!

Are we absolutely certain that this was not staged for sympathy? I do not trust Iranian Shiite Hezb'ullah. Or the MEK.

Proof?
His silence in the face of things like mullahs sanctioning murder in the streets, his statements that he will meet Akmenidjad with no pre-conditions, his embracing the iranian mullahs position on Israel, HIs acceptance of the mullahs building nukes, the photos of his warm greetings towards Akmenidjad’s best ally, Hugo Chavez. Take your pick.

Now, your proof that he is not friendly with the oppressors, and is not empowering them?
