Media watchdog: 23 reporters arrested in Iran

PARIS Iranian authorities have arrested 23 journalists and bloggers since post-election protests began a week ago, according to a media watchdog that says reporters are a "priority target" for Iran's leadership.
Among those arrested was the head of the Association of Iranian Journalists, Reporters Without Borders said Sunday.
The group released a list of 23 Iranian journalists, editors and bloggers arrested since June 14, and says it has lost contact with several others believed detained or in hiding. ..

“Twenty three reporters” arrested. Well, maybe Obama did not have it all wrong in his groveling,pandering, historically inaccurate Cairo speech: there are after all some things to be admired in Islamic culture.

The whole world needs to get their voice out These people are going to be dogmeat, otherwise. . .
That said; no one can wait on 'the ONE'. . .who must do more than 'issue' double-edged,WH messages. Where the heck is he? Afraid to stand publicly behind his words?
Any other issue; no matter how trivial; this President is at a podium with cameras running.
