Wow. A billion years of evolution beats 5 years of engineering school.

Who’da thunk it?

Anybody want some ? All I know is they all end up in my gutters. The Silver Maples are the worst offenders.

Actually God’s perfect creation beats a billion years and 5 years of engineering.

If you ever thought about it, the pitch depends on the moisture content which reflects the weight.

Another example of scienists learning from the materialistic Universe. Thanks for the post.

So.... did the ‘trees’ evolve wings on their seeds, or did they always have wings?

I’m old enough to remember a grade school teacher saying that nothing would ever beat Gods perfect insulator, goose down.

All I know is they all end up in my gutters.

I was going to mention that. I think they are developing eyes.

Also, their wings are not smooth at all. The veins are very prominent.

“Random mutations” produced something superior to what our best and brightest have ever designed after decades of concerted effort.

This surely points to no Designer!

“Actually God’s perfect creation beats a billion years and 5 years of engineering.”

Is creation actually perfect?

It was at the time He created it. “And God said, it is good”. Things started falling apart when sin got involved through man. But, look around, can you not find some perfect beauty to talk about. In my life, I live in Maui, was born and raised in the N. Calif. redwoods on a wild river and have been up in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Looks pretty good to me, not counting my month in Alaska.

What I did I call an Archie Bunker as he used to do this all the time. I looked it up and it is called a Barbarism or a Solecism. Remember that comic who made his whole act by using the wrong words? (Norm Crosby)He always was putting women up on a pinochle instead of a pinnacle. I had a carpenter friend once tell me that he was a taxidermist, he could hammer with either hand. LOL I didn't have the heart to correct him.And my step dad, bless his kind soul, always had "migrating headaches".

“Isn’t evolution a wondrous thing?”

Yes it is ... Which leads me to the final sentence of Steve Jones’ “Darwin’s Ghost - The Origin of Species Updated.”

“There is grandeur in this view of life, with its several powers, having been originally breathed into a few forms or into one: and that, whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been, and are being, evolved.”

I am in awe of the omnipotent God who was able to create all that is based upon the substance and laws that he gave us in that very first Planck second.
