'We Don't Need No Stinkin' Transparency!'
American Spectator ^ | June 21, 2009 | Robert Stacy McCain

Posted on 06/21/2009 7:01:50 PM PDT by RobinMasters

Newsweek's Michael Isikoff reports on the loophole -- big enough to drive the White House visitor's log through -- in the Obama administration's "transparency" policy:

As a senator, Barack Obama denounced the Bush administration for holding "secret energy meetings" with oil executives at the White House. But last week public-interest groups were dismayed when his own administration rejected a Freedom of Information Act request for Secret Service logs showing the identities of coal executives who had visited the White House to discuss Obama's "clean coal" policies.

Obama’s white house is as transparent as pea soup.

It would be interesting to know how much these executives are willing to pay the "messiah" to get him to back off. Probably 75% of each company.

Maybe we can make a deal. How do you guys like my new "bowtie"?

This is a surprise? You could smell the hypocrisy in the campaign.

If people thought the Nixon presidency was bad, they ain’t seen nothin’ yet...

Can Obummer say, “The American people want to know if there president is a crook. Well, I’m not a crook,” with a straight face and be completely sincere about it. I doubt it. And it will get worse, far beyonf Nixonian, far beyond anything you can imagine. Orwell’s 1984, here we come and faster than you can spit.

Why is this surprising?

Obama’s just your typical run-of-the-mill thug. He’ll say what he needs to say to get elected, and once in power he has no more need of the useful idiots who put him there.

I seriously doubt that he even aspires to a two term presidency. We’re naive to believe he cares what we think.

You'd probably get more hard-hitting investigative reporting from the Jonas Brothers fan-club newsletter.

HaHa. These idiot "journalists" have no idea with whom they are dealing. We do have "the Chicago Way on the Potomac". They talk real nice and purty, but behind closed doors, they break legs.

Just a little more organized and invasive than the Dixie Mob during the 90's.

Ever wonder why the Dixie Mob (Hillary) backed down from the Chicago Mob (Obama) during the Presidential race?

Bill and Hillary and the Dixie Mob were pikers.

“Reminds one of “Animal Farm.”

Yes. All animals are equal, only some animals )the big fat pigs in DC) are more equal than others.

Good picture.

It’s pretty ironic. Many people thought that the Bush presidency would be nixonian. And I tend to think that BHO will end like that.

Yep, I see’m every day. In my conservative area of Texas the streets are filled with cars with Obama stickers. Still stunning, though. I am always fascinated at human interaction, and Obama’s spell over so many is one for the books. When you talk to his supporters, they are either completely clueless, or extremely angry—facts do not enter the mind of either of the two groups.

A software support group lady that I have known for years chimed in on my support for Gov. Palin. She plays a tough game and it surprised me when she was negative. I told her “Palin would kick your ass”. She is incapable of looking me eye to eye now. I will let Obama’s failed policy guide.

The same factor that attracts them to Obama, repels them from Palin. There is a psychological factor involved, but we will probably never hear about it. I never understood how so many people in Germany could possibly follow Hitler in a worshiping way, but now I understand. Obama has the charisma, and the sheeple are fully in his grasp.
