The Washington Times ^ | June 22, 2009 | Editorial

President Obama's excuses for firing AmeriCorps Inspector General Gerald Walpin look weaker every day. The FBI has opened an investigation into a Sacramento program formerly run by a close ally of President Obama's, giving credence to the IG's work.

BTW, the same reasons they gave for firing this man is what they are floating to get rid of General Jones from inside the WH...

They're using the "confused" and "disoriented" defense?

Have these people ever heard General Secretary Ubama speak without a teleprompter?

There have been a few occasions where he sounded confused and disoriented WITH a teleprompter.

Here's a link

You could be right, he is not even six months in and he is already unraveling.

I just noticed that while looking for new titles. I hope it doesn’t get pulled - because there are new comments that may not be on the other thread, maybe it would get locked instead?

‘Perhaps I should’ve said Stewart and Libby were sentenced for lying to the FBI’

Either way, your point was correct. These guys got nailed and paid a price. Johnson should too, or Nobama should give HIM a pardon after he’s found guilty and then explain why...

Zero never had anything to start with. The media is having a difficult time propping him up with all his blundering.

Just wait until the massive tax increases kick in. Some of us can ride it out, many won’t.

Obama is an extremely productive President. It's only taken him 4 months to getting around to firing investigators.

It took Nixon four years.

This is the first I’ve heard of this. I guess the media is rather silent or I’m just not paying enough attention these days.

I just read the IG for Amtrack suddenly retired — after 35 years. Seems O is awfully anxious to get rid of all the IG’s... congress should be screaming like stuck hogs and they are whimpering instead.

AG Holder will kill this investigation. Or, in the true Chicago mafia way, he will see to it that the investigation “concludes” that there was nothing to see all along, and Walpin truly was nuts.

???

No they're not. Ubama is one of THEM. They're chuckling to themselves.

Questions raised as top Amtrak inspector resigns

Don't forget about the "problems" with the IG who is to oversee the TARP billions...

Dispute grows over TARP chief's powers

Too late now! What amateurs. If you want to portray your victim as a mental case, you put something in his drink first; then you stage an incident for proof of your victim's derangement. 0bama's people sure do lack for subtlety.

Yeah, right.

As if the worthless FBI drones are going to do anything to investigate/implicate/arrest 0bama and his criminal lackeys.

Keep in mind that the same damn FBI leaked information to 0bama when they were getting to raid the offices of Vivek Kundra in March of this year.

From the article:

"White House Had Advance Notice. The AP reports, "The White House says it got a heads up before the raids. White House spokesman Robert Gibbs says the Department of Justice told the White House on Thursday morning of its planned raid of the DC offices, but declined to say if administration officials knew about the ongoing investigation of the D.C. technology office when they hired Kundra."

Source:

If you are relying on the FBI to make fair and honest decisions/assessments/indictments regarding the immoral/illegal/unethical behavior of 0bama and his criminal buddies, then you are sadly wrong.

0bama's people sure do lack for subtlety.

Ubama doesn't need subtlety. What for? He has Congress and the Democrat newsrooms in his pocket. That slimy p.o.s. can literally do and get away with anything he wants.

Have a nice day.

Joe is correct on this. Libby was supposed to serve time but President Bush commuted the sentence and Libby remained free. The original conviction still stands though.
