A commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards has been arrested for refusing to obey Iran's Supreme Leader, according to reports from the Balatarin.
General Ali Fazli, who was recently appointed as a commander of the Revolutionary Guards in the province of Tehran, is reported to have been arrested after he refused to carry out orders from the Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei to use force on people protesting the controversial re-election of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Fazli, a veteran of the devastating Iran-Iraq war is also believed to have been sacked and taken to an unknown location.
The Revolutionary Guards is a separate body to the mainstream armed forces in Iran and is seen as one of the main and most powerful bodies responsible for protecting the Islamic theocratic regime.
Earlier today the Revolutionary Guards issued a warning on its website threatening to come down hard on Iranians who continue protesting against what many in the country see as rigged elections

And the president of the US is not strongly supporting these brave people desiring freedom, why?
It can be amazing to see how people react in a crisis.
Sometimes least likely people step forward and do the right thing, then some people shrink from the challenge.
This may signal Guard reluctance to fire upon their own. The economy in Iran has been so bad for so long that many men joined the Guard as a way to earn a living. Those recruits, the ones gained in the last five years, may also share this reluctance and are great enough in number to break the Guard’s ranks, allowing the popular revolt to touch the mullahs. Fascinating.

We have already been taken over . Most Americans were too “busy” to even notice , they voted for the enemy. Too many folks caught up in TV soaps and dancing with the stars to react to the soft take over of the USA.
My goodness this couldn’t be a WORSE TIME to have a clueless President in regards to foreign policy.
We should be FLOODING Persian patriots with resources right now and SLAMMING Iran’s govt in the press.
It’ll be interesting to see how many of our own troops fire on the American public when Hussein orders it.

It might have been that Fazli was a decent human being, or it might have been that Fazli realized that killings provoke long-term desires for revenge, and that somebody who blamed him might find an opportunity someday to kill him.
In any event, his removal is a big deal. One thing you have to understand about such societies, is how much depends on personal connections. Fazli probably had lots of friends and relatives dependent upon his position. The Guard has lots of economic interests, with their people owning lots of businesses. There's a lot of wealth and power involved.
All of Fazli's associates will now be out in the cold, as Fazli is replaced by somebody more "reliable". This will snowball.
Also, if Guards desert, taking their arms and ammo with them, then it's a whole new ball game.
Which ones?
US Army/Navy/Air Force/Marine Corps?
Or 0bama's civilian thug force?
If a Western-friendly regime takes over, Hussein will take credit.
If the Islamofacists continue rule, Hussein will blame Bush.
It's pretty straight forward what's going on here. Obama doesn't want to upset Boss Putin and the Russians. Ahmadinejad is their guy. Obama has spent his whole life around people who are dedicated to the destruction of America and sympathetic to the Russians and ChiComs (Wright, Ayers, Dohrn, FM Davis, etc).

Don't forget the huge number of Federal agents of every variety. It was BATF adn FBI Hostage Rescue Squad that did the dirty deeds in both Idaho (Ruby Ridge) and Waco, Texas.
The progressive militarization of the Federal workforce has created literally dozens of organizations with quasi-military arms and tactics, but without the well developed sense of history, honor and fidelity to the Constitution that the armed forces have typically inculcated in their members.
I suspect that, should there ever be an uprising of Americans against their government, it would be these various federalized police forces that would htake the lead in putting down the citizen rebellion.
If it comes to it, Most Americans won't be involved or even necessary. Freedom has always been fought for by the minority for the benefit of the majority.
