Now it gets even more interesting.
I’d be surprised if the General was still alive.
Is it a big enough crack though?
If this is true this man has courage worthy of respect.
American Patriots need to watch this play out.
It could happen this way in 3 years.
Heads will roll.
Is it a big enough crack though?
If enough people get the last look on Neda’s face it should be enough.
If dead, his funeral should prove...interesting.
Iran on crack?
An undated picture posted on the Internet shows Iranian Neda Agha Soltan, who was reportedly killed when hit by a bullet in the heart during a protest in Tehran.
One thing is sure , his replacement will be a hardliner.
On the surface this looks like a setback for the uprising, but it is not. How many Revolutionary Guards are loyal to Fazli, or share his view?
Every time the Theocracy takes an action like this, they alienate more people and deepen the cracks in their regime.
If the Revolutionary Guard is more loyal to their own than the Mullah’s, the Mullah’s just guaranteed their fall. Military particularly the Republican Guard run on the mullahs, and the “islamic revolution” that Jimmy Carter created is over.
Probably more than one. :(
Let Freedom ring, let the white dove sing Let the whole world know that today is a Day of reckoning Let the weak be strong, let the right be wrong Roll the stone away, let the guilty pay, it's Independence Day
And the president of the US is not strongly supporting these brave people desiring freedom, why?
It can be amazing to see how people react in a crisis.
Sometimes least likely people step forward and do the right thing, then some people shrink from the challenge.
This may signal Guard reluctance to fire upon their own. The economy in Iran has been so bad for so long that many men joined the Guard as a way to earn a living. Those recruits, the ones gained in the last five years, may also share this reluctance and are great enough in number to break the Guard’s ranks, allowing the popular revolt to touch the mullahs. Fascinating.
You mean those dummies actually killed the only beautiful girl in the country? Very Shrewd!
It could happen this way in 3 years.
We have already been taken over . Most Americans were too “busy” to even notice , they voted for the enemy. Too many folks caught up in TV soaps and dancing with the stars to react to the soft take over of the USA.
My goodness this couldn’t be a WORSE TIME to have a clueless President in regards to foreign policy.
We should be FLOODING Persian patriots with resources right now and SLAMMING Iran’s govt in the press.
It’ll be interesting to see how many of our own troops fire on the American public when Hussein orders it.
10 guesses why. He’s a punk for one. He hates the USA and he’s pro Islam . Any more questions?
It might have been that Fazli was a decent human being, or it might have been that Fazli realized that killings provoke long-term desires for revenge, and that somebody who blamed him might find an opportunity someday to kill him.
In any event, his removal is a big deal. One thing you have to understand about such societies, is how much depends on personal connections. Fazli probably had lots of friends and relatives dependent upon his position. The Guard has lots of economic interests, with their people owning lots of businesses. There's a lot of wealth and power involved.
All of Fazli's associates will now be out in the cold, as Fazli is replaced by somebody more "reliable". This will snowball.
Also, if Guards desert, taking their arms and ammo with them, then it's a whole new ball game.
US Army/Navy/Air Force/Marine Corps?
Or 0bama's civilian thug force?
If a Western-friendly regime takes over, Hussein will take credit.
If the Islamofacists continue rule, Hussein will blame Bush.
It's pretty straight forward what's going on here. Obama doesn't want to upset Boss Putin and the Russians. Ahmadinejad is their guy. Obama has spent his whole life around people who are dedicated to the destruction of America and sympathetic to the Russians and ChiComs (Wright, Ayers, Dohrn, FM Davis, etc).
From CBS-News, July 29, 2006:
Chavez Vows To 'Stand By Iran'
After Oil Talks In Tehran, Venezuelan Leader Called 'Brother' By Ahmedinejad
"Chavez pledged that his country would 'stay by Iran at any time and under any condition,' state television reported. Ahmadinejad said he saw in Chavez a kindred spirit." "'We do not have any limitation in cooperation,' Ahmadinejad was quoted as saying. 'Iran and Venezuela are next to each other and supporters of each other. Chavez is a source of a progressive and revolutionary current in South America and his stance in restricting imperialism is tangible.'":
Obama, Chavez shake hands at Americas Summit:
From National Public Radio (NPR):
August 29, 2006
"Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has been visiting countries such as China, Iran and Russia as part of an effort to build a 'strategic alliance' of interests not beholden to the United States. He considers the United States his arch enemy.":
Russia's Medvedev hails "comrade" Obama
Associated Foreign Press (AFP) ^ | April 2, 2009 | Anna Smolchenko
"Russia's Dmitry Medvedev hailed Barack Obama as "my new comrade" Thursday after their first face-to-face talks"
April 1, 2009:
"Obama, Medvedev pledge new era of relations":
If they give him a funeral. They may just chop him up and feed him to farm animals.
Don't forget the huge number of Federal agents of every variety. It was BATF adn FBI Hostage Rescue Squad that did the dirty deeds in both Idaho (Ruby Ridge) and Waco, Texas.
The progressive militarization of the Federal workforce has created literally dozens of organizations with quasi-military arms and tactics, but without the well developed sense of history, honor and fidelity to the Constitution that the armed forces have typically inculcated in their members.
I suspect that, should there ever be an uprising of Americans against their government, it would be these various federalized police forces that would htake the lead in putting down the citizen rebellion.
If it comes to it, Most Americans won't be involved or even necessary. Freedom has always been fought for by the minority for the benefit of the majority.
I’m thinking he meant The Acorn Guard of AmeriCorps.
The heck with my eyes; My THOUGHTS..............UGH! Now I'll have to wash my brain with Lysol!
Did you have to do that!
ACK! Gak! Deee-skusting! Geeez!
Check out Oath Keepers.
Every Patriotic movement has their Nathan Hale or Jean Paul Marat who believe in the movement and give their life for it.
Maybe his sons or daughters are in those crowds. Maybe he has a soul. Who knows, we surely won’t. Let’s hope and pray that more of the ranking officers will turn over the keys to the armories.
Reminds me of a rather more secretive group called “The Resister” that was active in the Clinton years.
How can it be "what many in the country see as a rigged election" when they admitted that there were more votes cast in 11 cities than they had voters.
Sounds like it is a proven fact.
Except we have guns. I was pointing out that fact to my kids today. If police fired randomly into a crowd in the US, there would be return fire.
We retain guns not to defend against invaders, but to protect us from a tyrannical government.
Somehow, I missed that first time through the thread ... and then you just had to call attention to it.
Where's the eyewash station? Why do I have this powerful urge to gouge my eyes out?
