Next he’ll be claiming that he discovered how to make beer, was Shakespeare in another life and invented the internet. Oh wait, that was another guy who thought we was a god.

Sheesh, they have no morals, no shame and no ethics.

But privately Obama advisers are crediting his Cairo speech for inspiring the protesters, especially the young ones, who are now posing the most direct challenge to the republic’s Islamic authority in its 30-year history.

There may be a sliver of truth in this, but not in the way Obama's advisors suggest. The message Obama has sent to supporters of freedom everywhere is: 'You're on your own now. Don't count on America to support you. The days when America would fight to overthrow brutal tyrants who oppress their own people, like Saddam Hussein, are over. We're more than happy to bow down to the thugs that want to crush freedom in the Middle East. If you want hope and change, you better find it on your own, because you won't find any support for it from the current U.S. administration'. Hearing that message, terrified Lebanese exiles from all over the world flew home to vote, because they got the message loud and clear that the Obama administration would welcome a radical Hizbullah government. And the brave young protestors in Iran know that it's up to them to do something, because the Obama administration won't lift a finger if it upsets the mullahs.

“And the brave young protestors in Iran know that it’s up to them to do something, because the Obama administration won’t lift a finger if it upsets the mullahs.”

Likewise, when Israel inevitably takes matters into its own hands to rid the world of the Iranian nuclear threat for another decade, we can, I auppose, be grateful that Obama made its timidity so clear. It likely makes a tough decision within Israel a tad easier knowing that there is no prospect that any heavy lifting can or will be done by this administration.

“they have no morals, no shame and no ethics.”

Yes, isn’t it isn’t how they manage to make the most implausible connections between Obama’s words and subsequent events that are “positive” even as they flagrantly ignore the much more plausible connection between Obama’s words and subsequent events that are much more negative, e.g., N Korea’s pointed thumbing its nose at the U.S., I’mANutJob being even bolder than ever is his declared nuclear intentions etc.

In Obamaland, when The One speaks, only good things happen.
