Thank You
for Remembering Our Troops  Over $600,000 Raised for Care Packages for Our Troops at Move America Forward's Troopathon Thank you America! Thank you so much for coming out strong in support of the troops! We were truly honored that so many of you gave generously to this effort. We have raised $658,248.59 as of this moment, and we are still getting orders. We know the troops will appreciate not only the care packages, but some of the wonderful notes that you have written to share with the heroic men and women of the military. While we are overjoyed by the support, we are disappointed that we raised much less than last year. That is going to leave too many of our troops without anything at all. If you have not yet selected a care package for the troops, please do so now. There is still time to make this a huge shipment to Iraq and Afghanistan.  Our troops count on your support at critical moments like these. The bad economy has hurt a lot of our regular contributors, so many were unable to participate this year, or gave much less. We understand that not everyone can help this year. But we still have over 130,000 troops in harm's way. We cannot let them be forgotten, and we are quite concerned that we are significantly short of our goals. The deaths of Farah Fawcett and Michael Jackson dominated the news, and we noticed that our web traffic dropped considerably as coverage of the celebrity deaths began to dominant the air waves. We only wish Americans were as concerned about our military men and women who risk their life protecting our freedom.
