The wording is deceptive and esigned to influence the outcome:

Response Percent Votes
He should vote for it to reduce carbon emissions

61% 668
He should vote against it because his district has a strong reliance on coal

38% 420

He should ask the Mayor for advice since the Courier reported the Mayor has been making all the right moves.

A hoot? Some of them are deranged Kool-Aid drinkers of the global warming cult. Holy cow! There were some intelligent responses also however.

Anyone that votes for this bill is a complete idiot and is also very un-American. If it takes a poll to sway a vote, why bother, the individual is a dunce.

He should vote against it because his district has a strong reliance on coal 51% 739

He should vote for it to reduce carbon emissions 48% 693

total votes: 1432

So the only reason he would possibly vote against it is because it would help his reelection?

How about because it will not have the desired benefit, it'a stealth tax on everyone, it will have a negative impact on an already struggling American economy, and will dramatically raise energy costs.

Missing choice: "Ellsworth should vote against it because there is no scientific proof of the existence of Anthropogenic Global Warming ™, plus the bill robs the people of their freedom and hard earned money."

....since the winning total is to vote FOR this horrendous bill.

When they lose coal jobs, the local economy suffers as a result, and their utility bills go up 50-90% each month, let them take the poll again........

Thanks, everybody, for FREEPing this poll.

It’s biased for sure, but it always helps to let the statists know there is some resistance to their B.S.
