Iran's regime strengthened its stance in the absence of mass demonstrations, which have come to an end after a brutal police and militia response led to the deaths of dozens of people.

A little bit more clumsy and public than Tiananmen Square but quite effective. The regime's follow up is just beginning. Look for a less "permissive" state from now on.

Whoops, I have to get my full attention back to the tragic death of the "King Of Pop".
