We stood together at Walter Reed hooting at Medea Benjamin, leader of CodePink, who had been spouting her nonsense at some UNC event in Chapel Hill just the week prior. cf_river_rat was yelling across the 6-lane avenue to where she was in his best NC accent, "Hai, Medayah! 'Member me? I yelled at you last week in Chapel Heel!" -- or words to that effect. She looked truly taken aback. It totally cracked me up. We had a great loud public laugh at her expense.

This "news report" tactfully avoids pointing out whether or not the pervdad adopted the child as part of a gay "family" or as a single gay adoption. Inquiring minds want to know.

And I wonder how the birth parents feel about this? I'm sure they intended to give the child to a good loving family and the decision was not an easy one for them. I can't imagine the guilt they feel now.
