“Stop digging” isn’t good enough.
We’re going to have to roll back the 0bama agenda just to break even.
We’ve still got a lot of damage from Johnson, Nixon, and FDR to undo. Not to mention George W. Bush. We still haven’t even fixed the education mess made by Jimmy Carter. Instead, Bush made it worse.

We’re going to need someone who can get people onboard a reform agenda. Bush couldn’t, because his ability to communicate and persuade was lacking, and he commanded very little respect on Capitol Hill because of it. So instead, if he wanted a legislative victory, he had to co-opt Ted Kennedy’s agenda. Palin would be even less persuasive, command even less respect, and be even less of a leader.

Palin’s entire political career is characterized by playing defense to her critics, and it would just be more of the same if she somehow got elected president. However, someone who spends their whole time playing defense can’t advance an agenda and thus isn’t going to get elected.

No, it's just a rhetorical start. The rats are pushing for an expansion of entitlement programs. SCHIP was the latest iteration. This is populism/socialism unbound on the part of the rats. Who do you propose can stop it, let alone reverse it? BTW, Palin comes across as a natural orator.

Your hostility to Palin strikes me as personal. Your vehemence against her reminds me of Sarah Palin: Revenge of the Vagina (Monologues)

Are you a member of NOW or NARAL?
