Before we all go too crazy, I’m not sure all is lost just yet. I’m pretty sure that Harry Reid already said that there is no way this passes in the Senate.

Let us just pray the Senators want to keep their jobs and put this horror story in the ground where it belongs. If this tax-and-redistribute scam becomes law, it won’t be a pretty picture.

Harry Reid already said that there is no way this passes in the Senate.

This does not excuse the Republican Quislings in the House.

Brave and patriotic?

Anyone who voted against it did the right thing.

There was a time (in the not so distant past) that doing the right thing was very common and good people just did that — the right thing.

It’s very scary. This bill guarantees higher electricity rates for a huge portion of the country. Not only that but the bill does relatively little to reduce greenhouse gases and other emissions, which is its supposed purpose. Energy companies will still pollute they’ll just have to pay to do it. Of course, the costs will get passed along to us.

What has been lost is any concept of deliberation and debate in our legislative process. If my understanding is correct, something like 300 pages in amendments were released to the Republicans at 3 am the morning of the vote. Porkulus revisited! In 6 months we have morphed into a Banana Republic where not even the pretense of constructive debate is honored. This is an egregious abuse of power, passing legislation with deep far-reaching consequences without any meaningful debate.

Precisely. CA is infested with stupid, liberal females.

You could tell them that only two polar bears are left and to save them half the human population needs to be eliminated, and these moron females would believe it.

There’s a reason why the Founders didn’t give the vote to females.

A 1.6 trillion tax increase vote on a bill that no one can read - or has read! - sent before congress at 3:09 AM with liberal bribes and selective taxes district-by-district manipulating our economy for the next fifty years,
Added to a proposed medical reform method that will cost an additional 1.6 trillion dollars to fix a problem that doesn't exist while destroying a system that does work,
added to a Medicare and Medical upcoming system already bankrupt,
added to a social security system already bankrupt,
all paid for “taxing the rich” to the extent past all that the “rich” could possibly earn in twelve lifetimes ...

But Obama’s ABCNNBCBS offer eulogies and praise for a has-been homohexasexual child-molester who plays plastic surgeon to the gods.

Truly, the new age of bread and circus is upon us.

Probably not a damn thing, Steele couldn't find his rear end with both hands.

Yes, but did you see the number of Democrats who didn’t vote for this bill?

This is not going to survive the Senate in its current form.

Having only 8 defectors is a good indication of party discipline among the Republicans.

There are good points, and there is a future, if we keep on fighting.

Tyrants do not care what is right or what the voters want. That’s why they are called tyrants.

The US Senate will pass this bill by a narrow margin in spite of what Reid says.

Our country is finished, there remains only one course for free men to take to remain free.
