People are furious at the Iranian government, after all the rigging and butchering they have done. I've also heard that the mullahs have been moving money out of Iran. They are clearly panicking.

Well, it looks like it just started showing up today. People have been chanting from the rooftops for awhile now, but it’s gotten FAR more intense tonight, due to the government confirming the election for Ahmadinejad.

Thank you. There have been a lot of posted Iran updates that represent doings from a week ago. I hope they continue the protests, and I wish there was something more we could do. Ever feel like a revolutionary that doesn’t have access to the battle?
I’m sorry, but I am of the opinion that these people are NOT “Freedom Loving”.
When they are ready to jettison, not just the current flavor of repression, but the Mohamedan Death Cult imposed on them hundreds of years ago, then I’ll believe it.
Meanwhile, they still pay homage and obeisance to the malevolent, murdering, thieving, raping, pillaging, lying, pedophile, polygamist pirate, Mohammed.
There is NO nation I know of where the teachings of this malignancy prevail and freedom as we know it coexist.

Yep! I wish there was more we could do, too! The best I’ve been able to do is contact my Congressman and Senators, but I’ve received no reply.
It’s like our government (and most of the people in our country) really don’t care about what’s going on in Iran. These people are being slaughtered and begging us for help, but we sit back and do nothing! It’s a shame! It really is!

I wish the freedom marchers would storm the armories. They HAVE to get weapons into their hands.
Although I do think our country should speak against the murdering of protestors, there isn’t going to be any freedom in Iran no matter which of the candidates is ultimately the winner.

How’s that workin’ out for us?
Unfortunately, there isn’t enough support to pull this one off. While there are a lot of people yelling in Tehran for regime change, seems they’re pretty much limited to the “student” class (English-speaking Twitter-using types) - the message is not sufficiently penetrating other social strata, and is not spreading much beyond Tehran, and is not pervading the military/police enough to make the movement successful. While there was voter fraud, there wasn’t enough to make/break the election - Ahmadinijad won however the votes are legitimately counted. And whoever wins, the Supreme Leader and his mullahs remain in power - the “president”, whoever he is, comes from a pool approved by those who really hold power.
Not looking good for the “green mob” there.
I’m not really sure what “freedom” they’re fighting for.
I’m not even convinced there was anything wrong with the election.
If you can explain, I’d like to hear. I started out enthusiastic about things there, but as I research it my enthusiasm wanes.
