I’m not really sure what “freedom” they’re fighting for.
I’m not even convinced there was anything wrong with the election.

If you can explain, I’d like to hear. I started out enthusiastic about things there, but as I research it my enthusiasm wanes.

They are seeking freedom from corruption, and freedom from mostly elderly and certainly fundamentalist mullahs who are intent on denying Iranians the ability to progress and function as a modern secular society.

Iran is largely a very youthful country. The internet has made them well aware of the opportunities available to other muslim countries around them, such as the Gulf States, Iraq and Turkey - not to mention in the USA and Europe (where a fair number of Iranians have traveled).

I think the mullahs are finding it hard to keep them down on the farms, after they’ve seen Paree.
