I agree with you wholeheartedly! And, yes, many of those same pedophiles were abused as children in various ways however, there comes a time when one needs to be responsible for one’s actions ;)
Me? I'll save my concern and pity for a child who was raped repeatedly and offered for sale...
When a community makes excuses or plain ignores criminal behavior....then that community is also criminal as well as aiding and betting in my book.... ;)
You hit the nail on the head there is a disconnect between responsibility and politics and this is another clear example of it. Global warming is another. The difference is that the Global Warming activists have not succeeded in their efforts of intimidation of anyone who questions the activist line. There is no reason why someone can not be seen as tolerant without running interference for the undercurrent of tacitly accepted pedophilia/child porn in the gay activist community.
Already in the UK we are seeing homosexual men be given preference in adoption and foster care based upon the false idea that there is no difference between a normal relationship between a man and a woman and two men. There was a recent case where the grand parents were ruled out because they were too old from gaining custody while their grandson was given to two gay men. A little girl in WV was recently given to two lesbians. Even without molestation this can not be the optimal environment for these children to be thrust into.
This is a dangerous path we are on and the blind indifference is outrageous. It reminds me of the invasion of the body snatchers the way the conservative media has been intimidated into silence on this issue even parroting the byline of the Nytimes and the activists only daring to step up and defend marriage on religious grounds. We have experts who the public need to be exposed to, there is 50 years of studies that are in disagreement with the activist line but a small number of studies conducted by gay activists is allowed to trump everything that came before. Having a gay friend or sibling or even identifying oneself as being gay should not mean that the extremes of the activists should be welcomed into the mainstream but that is exactly what is happening.
Several lesbian couples I knew in Hollywierd had babies and none are still together! Imagine the memoirs that child will be writing in a few years...........
That is in line with the stats from Sweden where gay marriage is legal which show that gay men and lesbians are much more likely to divorce.

What was surprising was the number of lesbian divorces but then again I think lesbianism is fueled by an entirely different dynamic than male homosexuality. There may be some cross correlation but I think they are different animals. Lesbianism is more incidental and temporary except in a small percentage of cases. I’ve always been interested in the lopsided numbers.
I have more lesbian friends than gay male friends and there is clearly seems to be a different dynamic at work. The one thing in common is a lot of drama.
