Gov. Sarah Palin will resign her office in a few weeks, she said during a news conference at her home Friday morning.
Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell will be inaugurated at the Governor's Picnic at the end of the month, Palin said.

interesting. Guy on FNC say shrewed gamble in that she can plan for Presidential bid. Very surprising stuff.
I just hope all is well with her and this gier her a better opportunity to compete with 0. She is such a hero to me - as a woman, and as a conservative.
Bill Kristol just said it was a very bold gamble, but something he thinks will work out in her favor.

Just like Sanford, Obama and his goons got to Sarah Palin. She has some scandal she is hiding and I bet Obama and his SS told her if she resigned, they wouldn’t leak it. Why else would she not serve out her term.
We have no conservatives left. The permanent Democratic and hard left majority has been built. It’s Obama forever and a liberal House and Senate. Republicans are too scandal infested to have any chance.
Obama might as well anounce his new, permanent take over tomorrow on our nations birthday, that way the old republic can officially die on it’s 233rd birthday.

Did anyone hear Ann Coulter’s take? Margaret Thatcher’s praise and advice for Sarah Palin.
She resigned because the socialist pigs were draining her dry with fake ethic charges. Why spend millions more fighting these lies when she achieved the goals she set as Gov and now wants to be free to travel in lower 48 states and build a natioanl base for a run in 2012. Plus , how effective of a Gov can she be for the next year fighting ethics and the media and run for President and raise a family.
It’s the best thing she could have doen.
