Andrea Mitchell reporting a number of sources tell her that Palin has notified her staff that she is done with political office for good.
I hope not, but may God be with her and her family whatever she decides.
She’s projecting her wishful thinking.
This is getting better by the minute....more blood in the water....the sharks are going nuts.
Well- Andrea Mitchell is not a source I’d trust- BUT it will be interesting to watch this play out..

I mostly lurk, but when big news like this breaks I always want to see what people are saying at FR.
This is a real disappointment if true because I saw her as one of the top tier candidates for 2012.
Maybe she just needs a break from politics for a while.

The problem is too many conservatives have forgotten what it means to “change the rules of engagement”. In football it’s called “the best defense is a great offense”. Sarah has been on the defensive with all the lawsuits/ethics complaints sucking up AK taxpayer dollars, and her staff’s time. She has resigned to change the “rules of engagement” from defense to offense. I love it!
2010 is coming, and “offesive engagement” is coming for the likes of Dodd, Pelosi, Reid and people like them. Sarah said nothing about running for President, but she did say she would fight for freeom, national security and our country...think about it. She will be free to campaign for the opposing candidate of the jacka$$es we all want out of office. What better place to start, and without being accused of abdicating her duties as governor while doing so.
In the meantime she can write a book, spend time with family and plot strategy...and with all the current ethics complaints thrown out, this stepping down will put her out of the line of fire until the real war heats up. God bless Palin, and we now have a chance in 2010 to end the problems in Congress. Palin draws huge crowds, and that is what many new candidates will need. It isn’t about herself, it’s about stopping the costs to AK, and helping America. It is no accident it was stated on the eve of Independence Day...go Sarah!

I just hope that whatever happens, Sarah enjoys her life and her family. She didn’t deserve what the Left did to her and will continue to do to her. Andrea Mitchell is just a witch, and Greenspan’s butt-girl.

Andrea Mitchell doesn’t know what planet she is on. Like we are supposed to believe that Palin’s people would talk to MSNNC, the same network that calls her the devil on a regular basis, Hey Andrea, KISS MY ASS, NO ONE’S BUYING UR CRAP. No one thought for a second that Sarah was gonna run for re-election, I totally get that, but why leave now, before her term is up. I can understand all of these ethics complaints and crap have gotten to her, fine, but they have been going on for months so why quit before her term is up, it ends in 2010 right..so what gives, something else is going on. I think her trip to Kosovo basically confirmed what she wanted to do, I just hop she is Ok health wise, whatever she decides to do with her life I 100 percent support.
If I were advising Palin, I’d leak that shit to Mitchell just to burn her ass.
